I am a civil engineer with over 25 years of experience who has been lifting over the last 10 years. I have gone through several injuries, came back, went through different training styles, including powerlifting and some calisthenics. I like to involve different training modes and found that if I wanted to compete at any time in any different strength sport, I would need to jump ship to a different app. If I change coaches, my data doesn't follow me. My son is a competitive basketball player and I also wanted a place he could find and use a program that works and track his lifts over time. I also wanted to include my powerlifting meet data in there and if I compete in a different sport, I want to be able to have that included together with that data. I have also often heard that strongman have difficulty logging and tracking training data due to the nature of holds for time and distance. I wanted to fix that. Last, I didn't like the limited nature of being able to import prior training data in one place. I had several journals, spreadsheets, and CSV files from other apps. I was able to bring all of those into this app so my entire history could be in one place. And export being easy as well so no one owns your data. I created this app so that a competitive athlete in both sports and strength sports could train and is both flexible enough for any phase of training and their lifting history stays with them.
