What makes you trust an ad creative before spending on it?

by

We’re launching AdRoast to solve a simple problem: most Meta ads fail after money is already spent.

A lot of tools help you generate more creatives. A lot of dashboards tell you what happened after the test. But before launch, most teams still rely on gut feeling.

That is the gap we are working on.

AdRoast reviews your ad before you spend. It looks at the hook, offer clarity, visual hierarchy, scroll-stop power, audience fit, and likely weak points. Then it gives direct feedback on what to fix before you hand Meta your budget.

The question I’d love feedback on:

What makes you trust that an ad creative is ready to test?

  1. A strong hook?

  2. Clear offer?

  3. Better visuals?

  4. Competitor research?

  5. Past performance data?

  6. Expert feedback?

  7. Something else?

We’re trying to build this around real marketer behavior, not generic “AI score” nonsense. Curious how people here think about creative judgment before launch.
