Review, manage and work on your issues in your personal markdown knowledge base. Link an issue to your own private page, add context and break down to subtasks. All in an interface you will enjoy using.
thanks for the hunt @_jacksmith !
hey everyone, maker of acreom here,
after months in beta we're excited to open up the access to the Jira sync with acreom.
acreom is the markdown knowledge base with tasks for developers. Our vision is to streamline your dev workflow by building an integrated and actionable knowledge base you will love using alongside your code editor to capture notes, break down large issues to subtasks and track progress.
The byeJira integration is our first big step in making this happen.
It solves 2 problems right out of the gate:
1. No need to visit Jira anymore to access and manage your issues.
2. Simplifies your work on larger issues where you would usually add your private context or break it down into your own subtasks. Simply link an issue to your private markdown page in acreom, add context, subtasks and track progress in 1 place.
For this, we have designed a gorgeous interface built for speed and accessibility. You can expect sub 50ms interactions, powerful search for issues, and keyboard shortcuts.
Let us know what you think!
Wow, congratulations on launching Acreom's Jira sync integration on Product Hunt! π This is an amazing feat and I can't wait to see what more is in store for Acreom.
I'm really impressed with how Acreom solves the problem of having to constantly go back and forth between Jira and other apps to manage issues, and how it simplifies the process of breaking down larger issues by linking them to private markdown pages. With that said, I'm curious if there are any specific use cases that Acreom is perfect for? Or perhaps a feature that sets it apart from other similar apps?
Thank you for creating such a valuable tool and I can't wait to see what fancy updates you have in store for us in the future. π
@gabriel_nori thank you! acreom is built to be your daily driver. Essentially, it's a markdown knowledge base, but actionable. This makes it versatile enough to be used for working on projects as well as building your personal knowledge base while using it daily to manage your day to day work :)

I'm a Jira user, but you really struck the chord with the performance comparison. ("sub 50ms interactions" is π₯΅π₯΅π₯΅)
Jira UI loading time is usually the time for a little reflection, maybe a sip of coffee. Sometimes I manage to squeeze in a little stretch, other time I go shopping or pilates.
Looks like that now I will have to leave those things to after work hours :)
