I built a free Windows app that mounts Google Drive, S3, SFTP and 70+ clouds as real drive letters

Hey all — sysadmin/dev here. I got tired of the download-edit-reupload loop and built something to fix it.

A to Z Drive mounts any cloud storage provider as a native Windows drive letter (F:, G:, whatever you pick). It shows up in Explorer, File Open dialogs, every Windows app — just like a USB drive, but the files live in the cloud.

Under the hood it uses rclone + WinFSP, so it supports 70+ providers out of the box: Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3, Backblaze B2, SFTP, MEGA, Wasabi, and more.

Features:

  • 🔐 Per-drive encryption (password-protected before upload)

  • 🌐 Remote browser via secure Cloudflare tunnel

  • ⚡ Bandwidth throttling per drive

  • 🖥 Starts with Windows, mounts automatically

  • 🪶 ~80 MB RAM idle — lighter than a browser tab

  • Free, no subscription, credentials never leave your machine

Launching on Product Hunt tomorrow. Would love feedback from people who actually manage storage day to day.
