Mike is a fantastic storyteller, and on Secret Skin he talks with some of hip-hops most compelling creators about what drives them, what's behind the public image, and what it's like to be a touring musician. They also explore race, identity, creativity and sometimes deeply personal issues. And there's often previously unreleased music. It blows apart stereotypes about hip-hop too. For instance: Mike's favorite band - They Might Be Giants. Take a listen and you tell me what makes it great!
