This book was recommended to me by a friend, so I gave it a shot - I wouldn't have otherwise. I'm not the most religious person out there, and the book definitely has a bit of that flavoring. But the real value was in reading the author realize that, despite being best-selling author and a crafter of stories, that his own life story...sucked. He starts to view himself as a character in a story, and realizes that no one would ever read a book about the Donald Miller he was...so he starts living a better story. Very interesting lens to look at life through and happy to have read it. A quick and enjoyable weekend read.

One of the best books I've ever read! This book inspired our daughter's name, Story.
