Today: browser tabs for every window on your Mac, a smart home that keeps running when a company switches its servers off, and a local record of everything you have looked at that your agents can search.

Launch. Get feedback. Mutate. Relaunch.

Hypership Day is tomorrow, Wednesday September 30, and it is the only day on Product Hunt where you can launch the same product as many times as you like, as long as each version answers something a real person asked for.

It's open to anyone who hasn't launched in the last three months. We've partnered with TypeSafe AI, makers of Jev, and with Supabase, which is the stack a lot of those relaunches will be built on. Prizes include early access to Jev, credits, swag, and a few we're keeping quiet about.

Not launching? Turn up anyway. The whole thing only works if people are trying the products and saying what's missing, and on the day your feedback is somebody's next feature. Last chance to get on the board.

  • GroupShelf — Tabs for every window on your Mac

GroupShelf turns any windows on your Mac into tabs. Hold Shift, drag a Finder window onto a terminal onto a browser, and the three of them share one bar and move and resize as a single thing until you pull one back out. Windows people have had this for years through Groupy, and the maker came over to the Mac, went looking for the equivalent, and found the usual nothing. Pushing other apps' windows around needs the Accessibility permission, which is why it will never be in the App Store and is sold direct at $9.99 once for three Macs. I have five terminal windows open and no idea which is which, so I am exactly who this is for.

  • Framer 3.0 — Framer 3.0 put a design agent on the canvas

Framer 3.0 is the design agent for every step from idea to launch, and it works alongside you, not instead of you. Describe the site, watch the agent build real pages on the canvas, then edit anything it made: breakpoints, components, code, CMS, SEO. Branching gives it a safe place to take the big swings so you merge only what you want. Already living in Claude, Cursor or Codex? Point them at Framer and ship from wherever you work. Not just vibes, a full platform.

  • Gladys Assistant 5 — Private, self-hosted smart home, no YAML required

Gladys Assistant runs your house off a Raspberry Pi sitting in it, with Zigbee, Z-Wave and Matter built in, 92 community integrations, and scenes you build from if/then/else in a visual editor with no YAML anywhere, which anyone who has edited a smart home config at midnight will read as the headline feature. Pierre-Gilles started it in 2013 as a side project on a Pi in his bedroom, and this is the first major version in almost six years. Belkin switched Wemo's cloud off in January and two dozen products turned into ornaments overnight, which is the whole argument for this one, and there is nothing here for anybody to switch off. Free, open source, funded by an optional subscription and no investors.

  • LUCI Desktop — Let your AI agents remember what you've seen

Luci records what is on your screen and transcribes your calls onto your own machine, then hands that history to Claude Code, Cursor or Codex when you ask what somebody agreed to on Thursday, or where the page you never bookmarked went. No connectors, because it just watches the screen. Runze's complaint is the one everybody has: every conversation with an agent starts from zero, so you paste the same links and explain the same meeting again while the answer sits in a window you closed an hour ago. Microsoft got called a privacy nightmare for roughly this, and Luci's answer is that none of it leaves the laptop. I would still want to know exactly where that file lives.
