ChatGPT in your pocket

ChatGPT in your pocket. Thatās right, last week, kind of out of the blue, Open AI announced that ChatGPT had hit the iOS App Store, allowing users to access the AI chatbot on the go.Ā
According to the company, the new app is free to use with no ads, has GPT-4 access built in for plus subscribers, and also incorporates voice input technology, although āhey ChatGPTā doesnāt have quite the same ring to it as āhey Siri.āĀ
Power users will be happy to hear that the mobile app syncs your history across your devices, meaning it can pull the previous conversations youāve had with the web client and make them accessible ā on the go.Ā
Siri has a challenger: With Appleās seemingly radio silence and lack of progress on the AI front, coupled with Siriās existing issues, the new ChatGPT app presents an interesting future where we might see iPhone users opting to replace Appleās voice assistant with ChatGPT.Ā
As mentioned above, āhey ChatGPTā doesnāt have the same ring to it, but given the feature set the app comes with, combined with the household name it boasts, it wouldnāt be too surprising if it gave Siri a run for its money. Who knows, it could bolster Apple to double down on its AI efforts to wade off the challenger. Win-win for us, the consumer.Ā
If you want to try it out, the ChatGPT mobile app is currently only available in the US but will be expanding shortly, and an Android app is on the horizon.
We asked 34 customers what Viktor does for them. Not one said chatbot.

They kept using words like colleague, coworker, team member. One CEO called it the glue holding their e-commerce business together, which is a lot, but also⦠you see why. It lives in Slack and plugs into 3,000+ tools, so instead of jumping between tabs, you just ask for the thing. Pull Stripe against HubSpot, check Sentry alerts, spin up a campaign brief, build a landing page, send a report upstairs. It all happens there.
It has already hit top 5 on Product Hunt with 130 comments, is SOC 2 certified, and your data does not train models. One user said it was the first time AI felt like a real coworker, which is either exciting or slightly concerning depending on your week.
