@mariadpdc how do you do that with Product Hunt? Are you reaching on on the product pages or some other way?

Point 1 is unambiguously - Yes! And I basically go in every day to see the first 5 products who are on top, read the idea, look at the site and if I'm interested - vote.
I usually upvote based on the very same reasons.

1. I know how hard it is to make a startup and get supported.
2. Sometimes I'm already using the product.
3. I love to discover new products.
Sometimes I upvote because the founder reached out to me on TW — but only if I like the product. DM will make me check it out but the actual vote depends on the product itself
