It is difficult to determine which social media platform is the most addictive, as different people can have varying levels of addiction to different platforms based on their personal preferences, habits, and lifestyles. However, some studies have suggested that certain platforms may be more addictive than others.
For example, a study published in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology in 2018 found that Instagram was the platform most strongly associated with negative mental health outcomes, including increased levels of anxiety and depression, and that the negative effects were partially mediated by addictive tendencies. Another study published in the same year in the Journal of Youth Studies found that Snapchat and Instagram were the platforms most likely to lead to feelings of addiction among young people.
Overall, it is important to recognize that social media platforms are designed to be engaging and can easily become a habit or addiction if used excessively or inappropriately. It is important to practice responsible social media use, set limits on usage, and seek help if necessary.

I'd say TikTok.
@inesfenner definettly. But i guess there are apps with really underrated addictiveness, if you put this into zoom-out perspective. And those apps are Tinder, Bumble and basically any other dating app. My rating is 1) TikTok 2) Instagram 3) Tinder
@ilya_uglianitsa Oh for sure! Dating apps are a good shout. That didn't even cross my mind.
i think tiktok and instagram are crazy addictive.
the content is new everytime and the algorithm is super smart and keeps you scrolling no matter what
it takes a lot of discipline to STOP and exit the apps
Every second app that you use.🙄
For me it is insta, because of the never ending content.
ACCORDING to a survey, over lockdown people people have spent more time on the video sharing app, Tiktok, than any other social media platform. The platform was labelled the 'most addictive' social media site as the average person spends 12 hours and 12 minutes on the app per week.

For me it is Tik Tok for sure, could scroll for days, honestly 🤕 Twitter is a close second if you have an active feed.
TikTok by far. Once you enter, you can't stop scrolling.
Tik Tok => Video + Algorithm are demoniac ;)
I would say I'm a bit old fashioned, I am a YouTube guy. hope to start my channel any day between now to the next 100 years.
