Remote work gives you the freedom to work from anywhere in the world. Many people in this community here are in tech and can work remotely. So which country would be your choice for a while?

For a while, I could live in almost any country ;) For the long term, possibly in Italy, Norway, or New Zealand. And you @marvin_maendle

@niko_steeb Norway is definitely to cold and dark in the winter. My choice would be Spain or South Africa in the moment

@beatrizlramos why you moved there?
Ignas Vaitukaitis
I lived in Lithuania (native), Ireland (10+ years), UK, Brazil (current). If I could afford I would move to San Francisco for 6 months or somewhere in US even for the long term.

@zer0tokens What is your favorite destination so far?

Since 2021 I have been living in Turkey, the country is wonderful, as is the Turkish language. But I wouldn’t mind living in a country with a cooler climate now) I hope that as part of my work or projects I will be able to live in Germany

@viacheslav_ustinov I can understand why you don't want to move to a country with a cooler climate. Come to Germany in summer (if you can decide). Winter is just nice in the alps and even there you don't have that nice and snowy winters anymore every year.

Given my love for rich cultures and breathtaking landscapes, Japan would be my top choice. Its unique blend of traditional and modern life fascinates me deeply.

I hate the cold, except for the snow since i love to snowboard. But other than that winters and cold suck. Soo i could probably live anywhere that is warm year round. From the places i have visited i would say Perth, Bali, Lisbon and the south of Spain would probably be the countries i would live in.

Estonia. Digital country, ,lovely people, so much to explore. Quite temperate if a wee bit chilly in January or February but not that bad. Affordable and energized.
