My story: How I've been looking for 1st users for Surfaces.One: - 1st focus group: emails from waitlist collected before development has been started - 2nd focus group: cold emails to people who upvoted competitive products on Product Hunt - After launch: Lead magnets (made on Surfaces) shared on forums: IndieHackers, YCStartup School, PH Community, etc. - Now: Referral: users send newsletters using Surfaces --> their subscribers wonder and start using too. Lead magnets again: I'm creating valuable content and sharing it everywhere
