We launched on March 8, 22 on Product Hunt and managed to get great results (🐱Product of the Day, ♥️ 1150+ upvotes, ✍️ 330+ comments, 🤗 2000+ new users). For reference, inspiration, and support our Product Hunt page > https://meow.ph/kairn And here's a sum up version 👇 1 month before >> build your community and work on your product [ ] Create a list of 500 people to contact on Launch Day for support => each person of your team should be responsible of at least 25 to put everyone in the mood [ ] Work on a very nice landing page, highly visual, and test your marketing message with potential users [ ] Build your self-serve onboarding so members who discover you on PH can become users with no friction 1 week before - fix your assets + give a heads up to community [ ] Have all your marketing assets ready (PH page for your hunter - cf template in our Notion / product video - cf how to in our Notion / banners / logo /1-1 activation messages / social media posts / Twitter threads to run discussions along the day / landing page polished) [ ] Let your community know that in 1 week you'll be launching so when you do they're all ready to help out [ ] Give each person of the team a clear role for launch day (answer comments / reach out to 500 / activate social media / answer new users...) 1 day before [ ] Make sure everyone in the team has your company's banners and all assets ready [ ] Update your social media links to your PH page [ ] Get a good night of sleep [ ] Post a motivating Tweet at 11:55pm Launch Day (starts at 00:01am PT) [ ] Activate your most engaged community first => rush to get to 100 upvotes within 1-2 hr max to target Product of the Day [ ] Reply to all comments, ideally by multiple people of your team to show engagement [ ] Share your progress on social media in very humble format (videos and live do the best job here!)
