[HELP] Building an audio feedback tool — how can I get validation?

Hey PH fam,

I am building https://vero.fm — and I wanted to seek validation before going any further.

I'd love your help on brainstorming an interesting way to get validation.

I was thinking about reviewing landing pages and giving feedback on Indie Hackers posts where some indie hackers ask for advice on their landing pages.

Do you have better alternatives to get attention and find 100 motivated early supporters?

@ben_cotte The two most important types of validation are paid customers or potential customers telling you about a painful, valuable problem that they have.

You can launch a landing page, but if someone doesn't sign up you don't know why, and if they do sign up, you don't know why.

Talk to customers, ship product. That is the only 2 things a startup needs to do. Good luck!

You don't need to do anything with landing pages. You just need to talk to customers.

Who are your first 10 users? Have you shown it to them? Have you asked them what problems they face?

I you don't have 10 people you can think of who should use this, you do not know who you are building this for.

Yeah, I am a huge fan of Rob Fitzpatrick! It is true, that's odd I had not think about doing this. And it's a great reminder! I feel like doing mom test is always a must do, but somehow, I find it more efficient for doing exploration and tapping into unknown territories. I feel like for validation, one could go more directly and try testing the solution space already.
