Hey everyone! I'm Rosie Sherry and I love building communities. I started about 15 years ago with meetups, I then started Ministry of Testing and boostrapped that to $1.5M annual revenue over 10 years. I still (co)own, but don't run the business day to day. I led the community over at Indie Hackers for a couple of years. More recently I started Rosieland, a community for community builders. This has evolved over the past couple of years, from a newsletter, to a paid newsletter and now to a community with a 'community garden' approach. Rosieland is still my side-gig as I recently joined Orbit
I almost ran to get to my working seat this morning and start working already. It was a long time I haven't felt this way. Usually, when I walked to my coworking space, I was taking my time, wandering a bit, buying a coffee on the way in, etc... What is the strongest signal you have observed when you are in this motivational zone?
Most entrepreneurs, especially bootstrappers are working from home, alone, struggling with trying to get paying users, and not really knowing what to do... There are just too many variables... Any tips to deal with it?
