Good day, everyone! Time-blocking is incredibly helpful for tasks that I need to complete but don't have time to complete. Do you use a time-blocking tool?

I never really used time-blocking tools, but I find time tracking extension (as an engineer) to be super helpful for managing my time. It really gets me to the state of "blaming" myself when I find out me haven't done that much throughout the day.

what do you mean under time-blocking? I've never heard of such term before ))

Absolutely! In fact, we've developed the ultimate time-blocking tool that even a time-traveling octopus would use to manage its eight arms and busy schedule. 🐙 Introducing Morgen.so! Morgen.so is a fantastic time-blocking tool that allows you to bring all of your tasks and calendars into one tentacle-friendly place. With its simple drag-and-drop interface, you can easily time-block tasks to your calendar of choice. It's so easy, you'll feel like you've gained a few extra arms to tackle your to-do list! The best part? Morgen.so is available on all desktop operating systems, as well as on Android and iOS. No matter where you are or what device you're using, you can keep your eight arms (or two, for us humans) working efficiently. So, dive into Morgen.so, and watch your productivity swim to new depths! 🌊 And if you spot that time-traveling octopus, give them a high-eight for me!

@david_tedaldi1 I actually use Morgen for time-blocking. It's the best I've used so far. The only thing that annoys me is that the task lists get assigned in a random calendar when I turn tasks into time boxes😅

@martina_hackbartt thanks for the good words and for raising the point! That's not quite random, by default, you will save things onto the last calendar you have saved an event on :) BUT, first and foremost you can change that for all events, or EVEN decide for tasks specifically, just head to "Profile & Preferences" > "General" and then look for "Default Calendar for Tasks".

@david_tedaldi1 Oh, I see! Thanks for the answer :) Something I would love and use a lot is the ability to choose a calendar for each task list. I mostly use task lists as categories e.g "Personal", "Work", "Project X", etc. So even though choosing a specific calendar for all tasks is great, this would be the "ideal" feature to do timeboxing for me :)
Time-blocking may work for some, but it can be rigid and limit creativity. I prefer to prioritize tasks and allow myself flexibility to switch between them as needed
Calendar connected to slack so everyone knows when I'm "Do Not Disturb" mode.
Time tracking or other time blocking apps are reducing my productivity significantly. But I've worked with many time tracking apps! I can suggest: TimeDoctor Toggl Harvest Monday Clockify Desktime

We use Teamcal Ai Timeboxing tool which I find really helpful in aligning the Goals of the Week with the Calendar

I use our newly launched time-blocking app, TimeCraft, which I introduced on Product Hunt – it's been a game-changer for my productivity and focus.
