I ve launched a few small tools before, but I usually skipped the whole talk to people first step. I d just build, ship, and hope something stuck.
This time, I m trying something different. I started asking around about a pain I kept noticing, SaaS free trials and how hard it is to get meaningful feedback from users.
A few weeks ago, I started to feel like I had hit a plateau on social media, especially with my Substack newsletter. I couldn t seem to get past a certain number of subscribers (stagnation).
In similar situations, I ve noticed that people often either: run a giveaway pay for ads
This is quite urgent as I'm launching apps back to back. I have some paid customers here and there and some OK traffic, but Im not sure what to pursue with more energy. What kind of conversion rates are considered "good" in order to pursue a product more seriously? When I say conversion rates I mean the following:
From landing page to app visit
From app visit to registration
From registration to paid customer
What numbers do you consider good? I haven't managed to find clear answers online.
PS: Im a solopreneur so I have limited resources, I cant be pursuing products that make no sense number-wise.
Hi PH! With so many vibe coding tools being released lately development of all kind of apps is getting so much easier. But the problem of getting users and finding your first paying customer is not easy. That's why I decided to build UsersFinder, it will offer multiple tools to get your first leads through multiple marketing channels. How do you search for your early users and what is your favorite marketing tool?
Hi PH! Over the past few months we are getting flooded by numerous "vibe coding" tools such as Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit, Firebase, etc... Many of these tools won't really build your dream app unless you are familiar with the basic code but they are getting better every day. I believe in the near future we will be able to type "make me a productivity app" and you will get a fully functional app with user authentication, databases and as many features you want. We are heading for a massive change and the market will face new wave of apps developed by every day people. Development is getting easier but the commitment to launch your app, test it, get your first users, find paying customers and validate your idea will remain at the same level where it is today. There won't be a magic prompt (at least in my opinion) to get you a 100 paying customers and scale it to 1000 or 10,000 paying customers. There won't be a prompt to increase your MRR. That's why the agency will become more important then ever. Your ability to commit yourself to build something people want and scale it with real users depends only on you, and there won't really be a prompt to change that. You will need proactive commitment to your actions that can create desired outcomes. Have a great day and build something people want!
Im Tasos, a tech solopreneur and investor from Greece :) I spent the whole last month trying to solve a problem that I face daily. It feels almost impossible to monetize all the content I am creating and all the things Im learning online. Big media platforms make it quite hard for me to make cash and to reach my audience. That's how the chatWise idea came up! An AI app that turns my content into a chatbot that others can subscribe to and learn from.
If you are a content creator, it makes it super easy for you to start a chatbot that generates revenue for you.
We re happy @Mercury customers here at Product Hunt. We previously used SVB (I ve used them at other startups as well), but the interface was clunky, and the bureaucratic process was frustrating so we switched to Mercury and couldn t be happier!
Mercury recently introduced expense and reimbursement features. While it may not have all the bells and whistles and detailed permissioning of longer-established options like @Brex , it meets our current needs.
For me these are the two most exciting things: 1. Will cash out big time from the crypto markets.
2. My goal to generate revenue with a product that I built and helps people. What's yours?

As Artificial Intelligence (AI) becomes increasingly ubiquitous, it raises important ethical considerations. AI technologies are increasingly integrated into our daily lives, from intelligent virtual assistants to facial recognition software. However, as the capabilities of AI continue to grow, so too do concerns around issues such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and accountability. According to Platformer, Microsoft laid off an entire team dedicated to guiding AI innovation that leads to ethical, responsible, and sustainable outcomes last week. I'm not sure this is the right way to go. What s your opinion about this?
Even if i like driving cars so much, i think that trains are still the best option, here is why: eco-friendly wifi, useful if you want to spend some time working meeting new people sightseeing, from the windows you can enjoy mother nature less expensive, not all the time but most of time
