Building interactive flow surveys at Melvok

Hi makers! I m Ali a full-stack developer who loves turning complex workflows into simple user experiences. Right now I m focused on Melvok Flow Surveys, a tool that lets you create survey flows where each node can collect data dynamically. Great for onboarding, product validation, feedback and anywhere decisions branch like a techy tree.

I m excited to learn from this community, share ideas, and discover cool products. Happy to connect with other builders, no-coders, and data nerds!

<p>Hey everyone 👋</p>

Hey everyone

I m Jonas, an engineer with a background in quality and process optimization who s now deep into AI and machine learning.

Lately I ve been building something that uses both to make experimentation a bit smarter; cutting down the trial-and-error and helping ideas move faster from concept to result.

Curious to hear how you re using AI or ML in your own projects, has it changed the way you test, learn, or create?

I built an AI SaaS that transforms data into business intelligence

A complete AI-powered intelligence platform for businesses, ready to scale, white-label, and resell. Over the past few months, I built a B2B SaaS platform designed to do one thing exceptionally well turn product data into actionable business intelligence.

This isn t another AI report generator. It s an end-to-end market intelligence engine that transforms fragmented information into interactive dashboards, GTM strategies, competitor grids, buyer personas, and exportable PDF insights all dynamically generated in seconds.

We engineered it for agencies, consultants, and SaaS founders who help brands analyze markets or plan product strategies but hate spending hours on manual research.

With this SaaS, they can:

How much money would you be willing to spend from your own savings to start a business?

Are you the kind of person who believes in your dream enough to burn through most of your savings on it?

For millionaires, this might not be a big deal, but what about people with a typical 9 5 job? I see how much a solid marketing campaign costs on just one platform (often the monthly expense is equal to at least a full year s salary).

The day before yesterday, a friend told me he and his wife are closing their restaurant, which they opened just six months ago. They had taken a loan for it, which makes it even worse.

Do you think early users care about design or just function?

I ve been thinking about how much design quality actually matters in the earliest stages of a product.

Some users don t seem to mind rough edges if the tool genuinely solves a problem. Others instantly bounce if the UI doesn t feel trustworthy.

I Built my SaaS Using Vibecoding (and Why I Chose Claude Sonnet 3.5)

I just launched AllPub.co and built pretty much the entire thing using Vibecoding with Claude Sonnet 3.5. I'm a software architect with just some basic Python knowledge, so this was my first full web app build. Wanted to share my experience!

I analyzed why 34 products that hit #1 on PH never made $1k MRR. And im lowkey disturbed

ok so weird backstory - ive been building products for startups for like 8 years now and i got obsessed with this question: why do products that KILL IT on product hunt just... die?

like were talking #1 product of the day, 1000+ upvotes, features in newsletters, the whole thing. and then 6 months later? dead or making $300/month

10 things I wish I knew before launching on Product Hunt

When we launched Flexprice, I thought Product Hunt success was about chasing upvotes.

I was wrong.

It s really about momentum, community, and showing up prepared.

Here are a few lessons we learned the hard way but I hope they save someone a few gray hairs before their launch day:
