What's great

As a founder, I use EarthClassMail (now owned by LegalZoom) as a virtual mailbox for my startup. That means no matter whether I personally move, my startup has a single, unchanged mailing address. Since they scan your mail and send you a virtual copy, it also means I can be on top of our company mail, even when I'm traveling.

vs Alternatives

I didn't investigate other virtual mailbox options.

Kondo

What's great

I've been loving Superhuman for years, and Kondo is exactly that for LinkedIn. Before I found Kondo, I didn't message people on LinkedIn very much, but now I find myself using LinkedIn a lot more simply because I have a good UX and can stay on top of replies.

I also want to shoutout Mitchell, the founder. I had a few questions when I signed up, and hopped on a call with me within 2 hours of my signing up. He watched me use it and gave me tips to make the most of the platform for my particular usage pattern. I've continued to send him my feedback on the product (via Kondo of course!)

What needs improvement

I wish there was a keyboard shortcut to open the website of the company a person currently works at. Overall though, I love the product!

vs Alternatives

There are no alternatives!

I appreciate the deep thinking models in particular. And the ability to prototype UIs via artifacts. Work that previously took hours, now takes seconds.

Superhuman
Superhuman makes navigating email way easier. Even though Gmail has since implemented many of the shortcuts, Superhuman's visual simplicity still makes it the clear winner for me.
Airtable
Spreadsheets on steroids. Still way better than Google sheets, even though they're trying to copy some of the features. Interfaces are an underutilized capability -- we use them for reporting on operational metrics.

Cursor
If you know, you know. But in all seriousness, Cursor makes coding way easier and more efficient. I love that I can learn and create in the same interface.
Figma
We use Figma and Figjam as our teams virtual whiteboard. Love both. I would love to also be able to interact via chat and voice since I'm not in Figma 24/7 and don't know all the shortcuts experienced designers do.
Linear
I love Linear because it's UI is clean, but it packs a punch. Quick commands, bulk actions, and powerful filters make it easy to stay organized, which means we build better products, faster.
