Do you remember that social media (decentralised) platform that experienced such a boom one year ago? Yeah, Bluesky as for today, hit 40 M users (I understood that "accounts") and is trying to improve experience, such as:
adding downvoting system dislikes, moderation tools (e.g. detecting toxic comments),
When I started my newsletter 2 years ago, I used Mailchimp I was familiar with it from previous projects because it offered fairly extensive analytics and testing. The problem was that the articles weren t public. Mailchimp is more suitable for business newsletters like sales offers, etc.
Monetization:
When I wanted to take the next step and monetise, I looked into Beehiiv. At that time, however, I wasn t in the mood to pay the costs without yet earning any revenue in my opinion, Beehiiv has the best monetisation model (subscriptions, ad revenue sharing, sponsorships, etc.). Considering costs...
@cerwindcharlie and I recently did an interview for the Stripe Developers channel (500k+ subs!) and shared stories we ve never talked about before on Pretty Prompt:

Growth can literally get you kicked out of Slack
I didn't know you can get locked out of your Slack workspace if you hit a rate limit on the amount of notifications... (We hit the limit because too many users were signing up!)
I really enjoyed reading The Breakpoint, Product Hunt's weekly, developer-focused newsletter, and wanted to relaunch it as a token of appreciation to the community.
The AI gold rush feels like it rewards teams who ship fast. Many teams are working on a 9-9-6 (9am-9pm, 6 days a week) schedule to keep up with the state of the art breakthroughs and features. Does this give teams an edge against their competition or is this slowly burning teams out. If you're building in the AI space, I would love to hear what your take is:
What works for your team and do you follow the 996 schedule?
Did following a 996 culture create more bugs or actually lead to breakthroughs and push you ahead of your competition?
How would you balance your life outside of work if you followed this schedule?
Making this post to raise awareness and ideally find a middle ground for teams that are currently growing and trying to keep up with the competition
Both AirPods Pro 3 and Ear (3) launched this month. I m curious what folks would get? I really like the design of Ear (3) and I can see myself using the Super Mic on the case a lot but . From seeing all the reviews on the AirPods Pro 3 it seems that their quality of sound, ANC, and microphone is better. So might have to pick those as the winner for me. What does everyone else think?

On Twitter, I ve come across founders whose business was acquired at 18, which means they had to start even earlier. In some cases, it was at 16.
I ve also read about 14-year-olds building their first startup, and in some instances, even 10-year-olds. (At that point, I started to wonder whether it was truly the child s initiative or if the parent was creating the image of a successful founder at the child s expense.)
A thoughtful review is always helpful to makers, whether it's an affirmation that you love their product or a push in a new direction.
We know the community loves a little competition. But more than that, we know how knowledgeable and vocal the community is when it comes to products, and we wanted to celebrate that passion.
Starting today, May 3, until May 17, every review you make could win you some new, shiny Product Hunt swag.
