Reaching consumers outside the tech bubble – what's working for you?🤔

Building a browser extension for fashion shoppers taught me something I didn't expect: the tech isn't the hard part.

I'm a solo founder working on a shopping tool. My target users are women aged 15-35 who want to look good and save money. They're not on Product Hunt. They don't hang out in founder communities. They discover products through TikTok hauls and Instagram reels.

We just shipped MUJO AI Photoshoot — trendy AI photoshoots from one selfie, with zero prompts.

The idea is simple: pick a vibe upload a selfie get a consistent pack of share-worthy pics in minutes.

Works great for: profile pics, dating apps, UGC, new year / glow up content, and just having fun.

There s a Free plan, so you can try it instantly.

MUJO Photoshoot is also part of MUJO an AI Visual Studio, where we re building more mini-apps for social + ecommerce.

You Asked, We Built: ExtraBar v1.1.7 Introduces Menu Mode

Since launching on Product Hunt, the feedback has been amazing.

A dozen messages, feature requests, and ideas are flooding in from every platform.

And honestly?

Some of you have taken ExtraBar further than I ever imagined.

Do you still know how to build anything without AI? (Or are we outsourcing our “taste” too?)

I m noticing something weird happening in solo dev land.

We used to compete on:

  • remembering docs

  • knowing frameworks

  • being a better coder

Now it feels like the real edge is:

Best developer tools launched on Product Hunt in 2025?

As we're wrapping up 2025, what are the best dev tools launched on Product Hunt this year in your opinion?

Dropping here some of my favorite, most inspiring dev-first product launches, in no particular order:

  • @v0 by Vercel - Runner-up in 2023, the v0 team launched twice this year, introducing v0 for iOS, ranked #1 Product of the Day.

  • @Cursor - The 2024 Product of the Year still hits the charts. This year, they launched 5 times, introduced 2.0, ranked #1 Product of the Day and #1 Product of the Week.

  • @Aikido Security - In the growing context of vibe coding and related security issues, the DevSecOps company is spot on: "Security is an everyone problem." This year, they acquired 2024 Golden Kitty Award nominee @Trag and nailed their first launch: #1 Product of the Day, #1 Developer Tool of the Month. Read on: A look at Aikido's first launch on Product Hunt.

  • @Lingo.dev - The AI localization engine (YC F24) launched on Product Hunt last February and crushed it: #2 Product of the Day, #1 Developer Tool of the Week, #1 Developer Tool of the Month.

  • @Appwrite - Launched Sites, the "open-source Vercel alternative," last May, ranked #1 Product of the Day, #1 Developer Tool of the Week, and #1 Developer Tool of the Month. The perfect Product Hunt launch?

  • @Kilo Code - The open-source AI coding agent founded by GitLab co-founder @sytses blasted it this year: Two launches on Product Hunt, ranked respectfully #5 Product of the Day and #1 Product of the Day, hit 500K+ downloads on VS Code and JetBrains, and recently raised $8M in seed funding. See: How Kilo Code launched on Product Hunt.

  • @Layercode - In the voice AI space, there's @ElevenLabs (2024 Product of the Year in the category, 16 launches in 2025) and new comers. Layercode is one of them. Launched last October, ranked #3 Product of the Day.

  • @Thesys - Launched three times this year, introduced C1, a GenUI API, and ranked #1 Developer Tool of the Week.

  • @Dimension - After months in stealth mode, the proactive AI assistant for engineering teams, among the most beautifully crafted products for developers, went GA, ranked #2 Product of the Day and #3 Developer Tool of the Week. Read on: How Dimension launched on Product Hunt.

We built One Minute News to combat clickbait.

In today s internet, headlines have become traps. They tease. They mislead. They make you click, only to find that the story is nothing like what you expected. We built oneminutenews.org as a response to the clickbait age. Our mission is simple: Give you the news in straightforward language and rank them based on their importance. The result? Clear, honest, no-fluff headlines that tell you exactly what happened, the way real journalism used to.

Here are some examples, we turn this:

V1.6 Major Update! - TilePix

Hey all! quite a while since i can say the last major update has commenced, this time involving an almost complete rebuild of the canvas creation logic under the hood. What that means for you? Launched Ultracite on Product Hunt twice. Here's what I learned.

Ultracite is an opinionated, zero-config code linter and formatter. @haydenbleasel launched it on Product Hunt twice this year, and I had a humble contribution as a Hunter.

Different launches, different results. Here's what I learned.
