Amazing to see, but the bar was becoming challenging to manage.

So we built exactly what you asked for.

Introducing Menu Mode

ExtraBar v1.1.7 brings a new display option: Menu Mode.

Instead of spreading everything across your screen, Menu Mode consolidates your entire setup into a single, navigable menu.

Keyboard navigation works perfectly.

Organization becomes effortless.

And for those of you with many items, this changes everything.

What's Been Happening Behind the Scenes

I won't sugarcoat it: we've been working around the clock.

Since launch, I've read every piece of feedback.

Every feature request is added to our board.

Every bug report gets investigated the same day.

The response from this community has pushed us to move faster than we ever have before.

And there's more coming.

The next version is already in deep QA sessions as I write this.

What's Next: Menu Bar Presets

This is the big one.

The original vision for ExtraBar, before it became what it is today, was the ability to switch between menu bar presets.

Think of it like DockFlow, but for your menu bar.

One preset for coding. Another for meetings. A third for design work. Each with exactly the apps and actions you need, nothing more.

Having a single bar with 50 items can become overwhelming for some users,

Presets will solve that.

It's coming.

We're building something new.

A proper website for AppitStudio where you can get to know the team behind these apps.

Four people, my sister, my brother's wife, my best friend, and I, building tools we actually want to use.
