Two months ago, I'd never heard of Product Hunt. When I told people we were launching @AI Context Flow here, they told me to keep my expectations in check.
Fast forward to today: #1 Product of the Day and #1 Productivity Tool of the Week.
The journey was chaotic, humbling, and honestly surreal. If you'd told me this would happen, I wouldn't have believed you.
To everyone who upvoted, commented, and cheered us on: Thank you. Your support means everything and keeps us building. If you need any tips on how we pulled this off as complete first-timers, ask your specific questions below
I m the Growth Manager at Grigora, a fast-evolving website builder platform. We re gearing up for our Product Hunt debut at the end of December or early January 2026, and the excitement is real!
We often talk about big features like AI, automation, or integrations, but sometimes it s the small, overlooked ones that keep users loyal. For example, in my experience, a simple smart reminder system has done wonders for engagement.
I m curious what s that one underrated feature you ve seen (or built) in a SaaS product that makes a real difference in customer stickiness?
Our first Product Hunt launch didn t go well. We put something out there, pushed for votes, and hoped for the best. It didn t work.
For our relaunch, we took a completely different approach. Here s what changed:
Engage, don t just post. We spent weeks commenting on other launches, supporting makers, and building trust. This time, people recognized us, not just the product.
Conversations > upvotes. What made the difference were detailed comments and feedback. The algorithm rewards authentic engagement.
Storytelling > specs. Instead of listing features, we shared why we built it and the problem it solved.
Timing is everything. Launching at midnight PST gave us momentum when the U.S. audience woke up.
Expectation reset. PH is less a sales channel, more a credibility engine. The real ROI shows up later, in awareness, trust, and partnerships.
What stood out the most: The community. The honest feedback, encouragement, and tough questions shaped our roadmap more than any internal discussion could.
Hey Hunter, Sheraz here (CTO/Co-founder). I m exploring a shift from support chatbots to a sales agent that actually helps shoppers decide and places items in the cart when they say yes.
What we re testing that s different:
Decisioning, not deflection: compare two products in-chat with real specs/stock.
Zero training ingest: it learns catalog, price, and inventory automatically.
Timed nudges: smart bundles/discounts only at the moment of intent.
One outcome: add to cart right inside chat + clear funnel/AOV analytics.
If the idea of a microphone-packed wearable that s always listening to your conversations raises privacy concerns for you, just know that you re not alone. If your experience is anything like ours, wearing the Friend will likely earn you the ire of everyone around you. Curiously, you might even end up being bullied by the chatbot itself.
The funnel is: Facebook Perspective click funnel Conduit AI, where our voice AI calls every lead. The calls have two purposes 1) book demos 2) ask and understand why they clicked on that particular ad.
Product Hunt was created specifically to showcase what you do. But let s face it, with the progress of AI, there are more and more products and you don t have time to test them all (respect to @gabe , who does this job brilliantly).
I noticed that as my following grew throughout social media, more people contacted me wanting to test products. Of course, I don t have room for everyone, and what s even more shocking is that to get to me, they want to compensate me for testing.
As a first-time founder gearing up for my first launch, I found myself getting overwhelmed by all the moving parts. To keep my sanity, I started building out a super-detailed checklist.
I want to make small promo videos with product UI in them. A few simple effects here and there. Figma is so easy to use and I wish that easy existed for video editing. Any recommendations?
AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and others are getting better at analyzing products and generating insights. But can it truly provide meaningful feedback?
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Would you trust AI-generated feedbacks on a product?
Big thanks to everyone who supported SnippSync yesterday
We ended up at 14th place on Product Hunt not exactly the rank I hoped for, but honestly, more than 120 upvotes means 120+ people took the time to check out my product. For a solo founder like me, that feels pretty amazing
The journey of SnippSync has just started. I m hoping to get some early users onboard and I ll keep adding features based on your needs and requests.
One idea I m already thinking about is organization support so a team (say with 10 seats) could all log in, create snippets, and keep their technical docs always up to date together. I think that could be super useful for companies constantly updating their docs.
Every day, I notice fewer people sharing their projects here.
A couple of months ago, build in public felt unstoppable: everyone was posting updates, numbers, roadmaps. Now? The hype seems to be fading or maybe makers are just shipping quietly.
