I'm building Slate — invoicing software for Israeli businesses. I run it the way I run everything: CEO and developer in the same chair, AI in the loop from research to shipped code. Slate exists because Israeli invoicing has been coasting for a decade — clunky interfaces, enterprise pricing, built for accountants instead of the person actually sending the invoice. So I'm rebuilding it. Fast, clean, fully tax-compliant, priced for a freelancer who just wants the thing sent and wants to get back to work. Most days that means talking to a user in the morning and shipping the fix by evening. No sprint ceremony between the problem and the patch. The whole loop lives in one head, and AI carries the weight in the middle.

When is the right time to launch on Product Hunt?

Because building products has become much more accessible thanks to AI, the bar has had to rise a bit, or at least the expectations have become stricter.

I built my own tool SafeLimit, but personally, I wouldn t launch it on Product Hunt yet because it s still very basic and doesn t even have a website.
