hey everyone so earlier this year I was just feeling really lost, not like one big thing happened, just life in general you know that feeling. and I got this idea what if there was a quiet place where you could write what's heavy and a stranger would write back kindly, no likes, no followers, just someone listening. so I started building it in May, I'm 20 and still learning to code lol, was up till 1-2am a lot of weekends just figuring things out. it's called Drift Ocean of Hope you write like a letter to the sea, seal it in a bottle and cast it, someone writes back. I just didn't want people to feel alone with their thoughts, that's literally it. if that sounds like something you need rn
Drift is a quiet corner of the internet for sharing whatever is sitting on your chest — anonymously, gently, without judgment.
Write it like a letter. Seal it in a bottle. Cast it to the sea.
A kind stranger — or a trusted friend — will write back. When they do, your bell rings.
No likes. No followers. No algorithm. Just paper, glass, salt water, and someone listening.
It also keeps a private journal beside your bottles — same dreamy space, locked to your eyes only.
Last summer, the idea for my SaaS, Xolora, started to take shape. Around the same time, the concept of vibe coding was blowing up. As a non-technical founder, it sounded like a dream come true. No coding experience? No problem, just let AI handle it.
The beginning was incredibly promising. Using Emergent made me feel unstoppable. I was seeing my idea come to life.
