CEO @ Ontoworks: Automating Videoprod.

About

Originally a physicist and philosophy-teacher, I felt engaged by the severe disruptions that emerging technologies are bringing. Hence, I studied Neuroengineering and started looking into developments in AI. While I still want to complete a PhD (philosophy of physics) sometime, life has taken me on the path of an entrepreneur, as I am now the founder and CEO of Ontoworks. Starting as a generic AI video platform, we want to facilitate the necessary transformations in video asset management and automated production for TV and media.

OntoVision - Turn a brief + your footage into an editable rough cut 🎬

Give OntoVision a brief and a folder of footage. It analyzes every clip, drafts the story, and assembles the strongest moments into a rough cut on a timeline which you review, edit, and export to Premiere or Resolve. You approve the structure; you keep control.

Hello from Physicist and Philosopher that somehow became a founder

Hello everyone,

I recently found out about ProductHunt and the opportunities on this platform. My name is Se n and I recently founded Ontoworks with my beautiful team. Originally I wanted to become an academic and do a PhD in the philosophy of physics, but circumstances made me want to try and become an entrepreneur. First we developed an gen-AI music video generator, which worked well, but did not have the right market. Now we are launching OntoVision, which automates the assembly of video footage by auto-creating rough cuts based on your storyline. It was TV broadcasters and production companies that approached us with their needs and pains that lead us to our solution.

Which technology do you think will die out, and which one will probably change our lives?

Over the past one, 2, or even 3 decades, technological development has accelerated dramatically thanks to the digital revolution.

But some technologies generate a lot of hype and still don t seem to have reached mass adoption or shown enough long-term potential. For example, that s how I currently see wearable glasses.

On the other hand, technologies and concepts like the internet, social media, artificial intelligence, and perhaps even Bitcoin have already had a profound impact on society.
