Only heard about it recently and wanted to check it out but it's been shut down less than a year after launch. Why? The reviews here seem to be very positive.

I've signed up a few months ago but haven't had time to fully dive in (probably should have paused my subscription). Will have more time soon. Have a few ideas that I'd like to try building with it. Can't wait to try it. Especially after reading this. Prior to this I build an app for myself just using Claude 3.5 inside Perplexity and had a ton of fun doing it.

This should make it much easier to integrate user research into the design process. People pay lip service to it but, in reality, it's often skipped due to time constraints.

I tend to go against the grain and when I post photos from my own life I do it without any explanation. Let others imagine what I'm doing, where and why. It's more mysterious that way. 😁 Plus, most people don't read all these texts under or superimposed over every Instagram photo. I actually find that annoying. It's not what Instagram was meant to be. If you want to write do it on Twitter or...

One of the two best football (soccer) apps out there. Awesome design and info. Also offers live games from some smaller leagues.

Tried it out. Very cool. Small suggestion. Often when using the share feature of news apps it doesn't just grab the link but also the title. When that happens your bot fails. It would be good to still recognize links even if there's some text in front of them.

It looks amazing in terms of the possibilities and all the tech that was packed into such a small device but the price is insane. Just for you to watch a movie, TV show or play a video game with your significant other you'll have to drop $7K! I'm also curious about the weight. Apple hasn't revealed that yet. For anyone talking about doing work or watching full movie wearing it that's a very...

Looks interesting but is there a free trial? I'd like to use it and decide if I like it before paying for it.

The only negative is that this is the original version so not updated beyond the latter part of 2021. For the up to date version you still have to use the Bing app.

Just remind yourself that there's a 99% chance that what you're doing now is something you won't even remember a year from now. It's all about perspective. So go something you really enjoy and come back to the task a bit later.

A lot depends on how good Google's response (Bard) is. While Google has a total stranglehold on search (93% market share), and people don't change their habits easily, anything is possible in tech so if Bing's collaboration with Open AI produces significant benefits for users vs. using Google search it's possible that Microsoft can mount a challenge. We've seen once-dominant companies quickly...

Forgot to mention. One of the simplest and quickest ways to reduce your social media app distractions is to completely turn off all the notifications for all such apps at the OS level. Don't worry. You still won't miss anything. But now YOU get to decide when to use them. Another good way in addition to that is to use the Screentime feature to setup time limits for such apps. For example, limit...

Limit my time on social media and messenger apps by using timers on iPhone and Mac. Also, use 1Focus on Mac. Forest pomodoro app. Have a backup phone that doesn't have any social media or messenger apps installed that I use only for productive tasks (email, pocket, productivity, travel, finance, etc. apps). At midnight put my phones and iPad into a box that locks until morning (has a timer lock).

Tried it. The algorithm seems to be very basic. It just flags certain keywords without any regard for context. I suppose it's still useful as you can then review the flagged tweets and decide for yourself whether they should be removed. And hopefully, you're aware that Twitter is a completely public platform when you tweet so there wouldn't be that many flagged tweets to review, as was my case.

This is awesome! There's also now a podcast version that takes about 6 min to listen to so can catch while getting dressed in the morning.

The idea might be good but the price is quite a bit more than some pretty good smartphones on the market (can get a very decent Motorola, etc for under $200) is not justified. Justifying it by telling us how much time it gives back to us is a clever ploy but that's not how products are typically valued. It's like saying pay me for not including features. The way I've solved this issue is by...
