I'm seeing more products launch on Product Hunt that require payment to actually use any features. No free trial, no freemium tier, just a download that leads straight to a paywall.
Part of me thinks this makes sense. If your product has real value, why give it away? People on Product Hunt understand they're looking at premium tools. Plus offering free access can attract users who will never pay anyway.
But I also see the argument for temporary free access during launch. Product Hunt users want to actually try what they're upvoting. How can they give meaningful feedback or become advocates if they hit a paywall immediately?
A lot of us tend to neglect our health, being so entrenched in the work we're doing. That's unfortunate because without health, we can't really do much. It should be prioritized above all.
Prioritizing health starts with simple habits. Personally, exercising even just 45 minutes a day (usually in the morning) - whether that's lifting weights or shooting hoops has greatly improved my posture, energy levels, confidence, and mental clarity. It sounds cliche, but I really do believe exercising is a super-enhancer. What is one healthy habit that has yielded improvements for you?
I was recently talking with a group of founders, and we went around sharing tools we're using now. Posting my notes for our community here - would love to know what else people are using!
I have been building, learning, searching, investing for the last 6 years, back to back, non-stop. I feel I have officially reached burnout. One week I am super into building and I code new things like crazy. And the next I just want to chill and go surfing lol. Do you go through a similar phase? How do you deal with the constant change of emotions?
Hi folks. Yesterday, I got featured with my latest app, and I made it to Top 5 Products of the day
I won't share my app's link here. That is not the goal. I just wanted to share some traffic numbers and insights, so you have a realistic expectation of traffic once you make it, too :)
(GMT+1) - : +1.1k page views - : +1k unique visitors - : +1.6k views (how is it higher than landing page views? I still don't know) - : 213 actual users - : 4 HELL YEAH - : 130$ (VERY RICH lol)
Software serves a purpose it helps people get things done. But everyone s needs are different, and the features that matter most can vary a lot.
I work here @producthunt and feel lucky to be able to build tools that solve problems I care about. Now I d love to hear from you: What s one feature you d love to see on Product Hunt that would actually help you? Big, small, wild encourage everyone to share their own
I graduated 4 years ago, and I had the opportunity to go on to a PhD, but I gave up on that option.
Instead, I chose the "real world".
Many public universities in my country offer free tuition, while in the US tuition is very high, and people take out student loans that take decades to pay off.
Hi everyone, Gabe here! I lead curating Product Hunt's leaderboard.
First thing I will say is that if I could feature every single product that works, I would. I love supporting makers and demoing products. I actually try to test every single thing that gets hunted every day... which is A TON. But I view our job as to surface the most interesting, novel, useful, and innovative products - daily. Now we may not always get it right, the process isn't perfect, but we're trying to do right by the community.

I m gearing up for my first Product Hunt launch, and I ll be honest I m both excited and a little nervous!
I m launching Movitalis, a workout tracker & planner designed for longevity. Unlike traditional fitness apps focused on performance, Movitalis helps regular people stay active and healthy by leveraging the latest research on longevity, without overcomplicating training. It s already live on the App Store, but I m preparing a major update and want to introduce it properly here on PH.
