I agree, the barrier to try a mobile app / product is higher for me. I'm a desktop primary kind of person, so if it's mobile it has to really resonate. I suspect this may track somewhat with age?

Very cool concept, could be a total game changer if nailed. A question if you don't mind - when using Chat GPT / Claude to kick the tires in this space, I've found the AI to parrot whatever the most popular articles / newspieces / analysts it can find on a given investing subject or stock and extrapolate from there. I really have to challenge the thinking process to overcome this, and even then...

"Compressing the entire universe into your Mac..." :) Downloaded and tried this morning as I'm psyched about the local / privacy angle. Unfortunately I got hung up in the install below - seen that before? Sat there for 20 mins and never got to 100%

I think the non-english market in general is less crowded and underserved, so if you have a product and some advantage in knowing the market, it's worth it. They key is having that insight and knowing the language well so you can hit the right touch points without coming off as just a lazy translation from English to X.

Cool concept! I've been doing it 'by hand' using a text file, this would be a cool upgrade. Does your printing solution support the standard stickly label maker (e.g. Avery) sizes?

Nice product and the privacy angle is spot on. Getting people to trust you with financial data is always tough, and this solves it in quite an interesting way. I never even thought of selling a template for google sheets as a way to productize something! Question - how are updates to the template handled?

Great topic and one I've been thinking alot about myself. I think you nailed it, the new paradigm is all about having good taste and a good eye for guiding the overall vision of the product. One thing I do frequently is review the generated code after each major feature. The job now becomes scanning for duplicate stuff (AI does this alot), thinking big picture about how the pieces work...
Do you still know how to build anything without AI? (Or are we outsourcing our “taste” too?)

Great site, looking very clean and wish it existed a few months back! One thing that people may miss is the match between the due date and the terms below. May not be worth automating, but possibly a reminder would work ('Don't forget to update terms!'). Also the template site has all those big colored infographics - may be a little too much visual noise - could be cut down in size. Pretty...

Pretty cool breakdown and congrats on navigating all the importing and tagging. Question: when looking at that last 'Eating Out / Takeout' screenshot, what is the takeaway on all the colors per month? (Forgive me if I missed something obvious)

Great reminder about the power of discipline and perseverence. I've been thinking more and more about the Lindy effect where "the longer a period something has survived to exist or be used in the present, the longer its remaining life expectancy". Keep pushing that flywheel and addressing real problems and the effort will pay off. All the best to everyone in the new year!

Good stuff, juggling all my audio sources is a real pain point. Apple has had these annoying audio problems that linger forever - I'm still fighting that balance drift issue every now and again that drives me nuts when mixing audio. Thanks for your product, installing it today.
