For me it would be Tidal, music helps me concentrate on work and get my tasks done, Phillips smart hue lightbulbs a complete mood changer and my Le Creuset casserole dish, can prep a beautiful dinner and just let it simmer for a few hours while I work
We know that productivity is a daily challenge for remote workers. I am guilty. So I am curious how you guys keep productivity at peak (or at a functioning level, at least) while working remotely? A good night's sleep and a cup of coffee/matcha are great boosts for me. How about you?
I'm always looking for new ways to streamline my tech news consumption, what blogs, news sites, newsletters and twitter accounts do you follow to keep up to date?
Your launches are pure gold. So are you. That s why we re introducing Maker Minutes. We re doing our best to shine on a light on the talented and interesting makers that make up the Product Hunt community. One small way you can participate is sharing self-recorded videos of yourself answering some casual questions about yourself that we will selectively share on our socials so the broader community can get to know you and what you re working on better.
Community Hours got a permanent residence
We ve been loving our Community Hours sessions where we get to meet some fresh faces and consult with makers about their upcoming launches, so we decided to give the sign up links a permanent home. No more scratching your head to remember where you stored that link that s floating around on various parts of the internet. Find the sign up link on our Launch Guide or in the launch submission flow. If you haven t joined us yet, please do!
We're having a small discussion in our office about this. The majority is part of the coffee-empire but a small group of tea-rebels is fiercely defending their opinion. What about you?
Hi everyone!! In case you haven't heard, in a couple of weeks we're trying something new: hosting an event to share everything you need to know about how to launch on Product Hunt. We'd also like to incorporate answers to the most common questions from the community, so here's your open call to ask us anything in the comments below! To join the event on August 16 at 9am PDT, go ahead and register here: https://events.producthunt.com/e...)
Hey Makers! Jamie from the Product Hunt team here. Launches are a way to share big milestones for your team over the course of many months of work, but there are so many smaller updates in between that might be interesting to share and connect with the community. We re exploring some new ways to make posting product updates more frequent, and we're curious to hear from you on what would help you most. Makers, if you had a way to post incremental product updates (written, video, or some other way), would you do it? Product enthusiasts, would you find these updates an interesting way to follow along with your favorite makers so they don t become long lost friends you haven t heard from in 6 months? Fill out the poll and comment below with your thoughts.
Personalization is becoming more and more of a norm and expectation on the internet and IRL experiences. IMO, if I am an active user somewhere, I will happily provide signals (within reason) to personalize my experience. We re working on some ways to improve recommendations on Product Hunt, and I'm curious to get your input on the topic.
