Hi Makers, I've become really interested recently in what makes someone leave a job to pursue a career as a maker. I used to be an Archaeologist (its an unusual change I know). I want to know your stories. What jobs did you give up to pursue your dream? What job are you planning to leave once your Unicorn takes off? Why?
I thought for sure that my product would sell itself. Nope. Marketing is more difficult than building product. Personally, I thought yoga was a bunch of hippie BS. Then I got stressed, my back started to hurt and yoga saved me. As I get older, I've realized that wisdom really means experience and having an open mind.
Hello, everyone We recently started to use mailchimp to send out emails to customers. For the first email we got 80% open rate and the second email we only got 15% and it has been decreasing since. Weird part is that we sent our first email on 5AM on Tuesday and 2PM on Thursday for the second one. According to the several researches, second should get more attention than the first one.
Would you please share your experience with sending out emails to customers? Thank you
