What helps me get back into fitness apps or stay consistent with them is the ability to add friends / family to a leaderboard. If you could track streaks across members, it creates “fomo” - fear of missing out and it would be a useful tool for app retention. One great example of this is an app called Step Up which tracks steps across a leaderboard, and it became very popular for this reason...

Scrub Daddy the smiley face sponge with eye holes for your fingers, and a mouth for cleaning spoons. Current valuation is over $250 Million which is just crazy to be honest but I see the appeal lol

Hey @yigit_sahin2 I don't use any personal finance apps, but I will tell you something I would use. If there was an app which linked to open banking securely and I could link it up to a tablet on the wall and see what I spent each day and how much money I made from products per day (Updated Hourly). That would be pretty cool!
What are your must-have features in the peronal finance app of yours?!

Great idea! Excited to see how it works in action, since you're in the shared payments space, would be cool if you made a way for friends to save money together. I.e 5 friends send $200 to one person each month and it rotates each month till everyone gets paid. :)

Have you noticed anything performance-wise, such as the bios generated, do they generate any more meaningful traction than usual?

Honestly for me, I wasn't expecting much and there wasn't much in terms of statistical increases either, but what I did gain was experience. I believe the first time of doing anything lays the foundation for a learning curve, whether that's a Product Hunt launch, marketing an idea or even building something new, and the experience gained from launch day, going through all the steps etc...

This looks great, can't wait to try it! The video loom is really good as well, congrats on the launch.

Hey Team! Congrats on the launch 🔥 I really like the attention to detail and the design tools, it's al ot more refined then other design tools I've come across, and it's great to see Photoshop-level customisation along with all the image creation agents in one place! What's on the roadmap for future improvements?

One thing I didn’t expect while building this: The hardest part wasn’t actually the coding, it was questioning whether the problem was “real enough”. Doomscrolling feels like such a normal part of modern apps that it almost feels impossible to design something differently. But after talking to people while building, I realised a lot of us don’t actually want infinite feeds, we just haven’t been...

Wholeheartedly agree. Launch days can be emotional, especially when you’ve spent months building something and the rankings don’t go the way you hoped. But showing up still matters. You learn how the platform works, meet other builders, and start building relationships that compound over time. One launch rarely defines a product. Sometimes it’s the second or third iteration, when you already...

Congratulations for making it into the Top 10! 🔥Hoping I can do the same today, your solo founder journey is definitely motivational and honestly Branding Studio is a great idea! It's clear to see how much effort you put into it, wishing you all the best with the next steps and future roadmap.
Three days in. Thank you all!

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m MJ, the solo developer behind Scrollified. I built this after a realization about my own habits: I tried app blockers and timers, but I didn’t actually want to stop watching short videos. I just wanted to enjoy them without the "zombie" feeling that comes with endless scrolling. Scrollified is my attempt at a different experience. Instead of one infinite feed, the app...

ScrollifiedShort-form videos organized by category, not algorithms
Scrollified is a short-form video app designed to reduce algorithm chaos and endless scrolling.
Instead of an infinite feed, videos are organized into curated categories so you can explore content more intentionally.
Features like **Time’s Up Mode** and **Focus Mode** help limit endless watching, while a fresh set of videos drops every 24 hours.
Built solo over 8 months while working full-time and pursuing a PhD in AI.

Scrollified is free to use, with an optional $1.99/month Scrollified+ subscription if you want to unlock the full suite of features. (automatically localized to your region). As a small thank you to the Product Hunt community, I generated 50 free Scrollified+ codes. If you'd like one, just reply here and I’ll send it over 🙂 Alternatively, feel free to shoot me a DM on X and I'll hook you up...

I’m honestly a bit nervous as a solo maker, so I’m looking for 3–5 honest builders who can roast the product page today before launch. Happy to share the early link if anyone’s curious.

Hey Product Hunt 👋 Tomorrow I’m launching Scrollified, an app I built during late nights alongside working full-time and my PhD. The idea started from a personal problem: I’d open YouTube Shorts or TikTok for “5 minutes”… and somehow it would be 2 hours later. App blockers never worked for me. Deleting the apps never worked either. So I started wondering: What if short-form video wasn’t...

I totally get where you're coming from. I initially joined just to prep for my product hunt launch, thinking of it as a checkbox. After 2 weeks of actually talking to people, my "why" has completely shifted. There's a great feeling being the 1st or 5th comment on a new product and showing up for other builders. Honestly making someone's day is what keeps me logging in now, and the chance to...

This is very interesting. The biggest risk is the lack of "biological" rights for digital entities. If a consciousness is uploaded, can it be paused? Deleted? Edited? We run the risk of creating a new class of existence that could be subjected to "infinite" suffering or exploitation at the speed of a processor, without any of the physical protections we take for granted today. Side note: I've...

One great idea I'm bouncing around at the moment is to offer paid subscription features for free but with limits. I believe the freemium model greatly increases conversions, and you can see examples of this in applications like Vercel / Expo, even Microsoft has a "only pay when you cross a limit" feature. I think this works great, because it allows users to build up trust as you mentioned Nika,...

Hey! I like the idea of a very minimal stopwatch app and the 1x1 widget concept is actually pretty neat. Being able to tap directly from the home screen without opening the app is a nice touch. One thought - right now it feels like it’s still quite similar to other stopwatch apps. That might be an opportunity to think about what could make it stand out a bit more. For example, people often use...
