Today, I am co-organising my first hackathon in my country, and I will give a talk to the participants about Product Hunt as one of the ways to distribute a product.
Some participants may hear about the platform for the first time, and I would like to encourage them a little in building and launching products.
Really Simple Support is a really simple concept. It's a helpdesk / customer support tool aimed squarely at makers, indie hackers and early stage startup teams. It has everything you need, no usage limitations and simple affordable pricing.
This poll is in honor of "Back To The Future Day". Think back to your early childhood visions of technology. Do the gadgets that exist today live up to your expectations? Tell us why. I personally watched a lot of The Jetsons so I'm still waiting for my flying car and robot housekeeper. (I do have a Roomba but it sadly cannot pick the laundry off my bedroom floor)
I'll start with one. Hopefully we can build a collection of actionable tips that we could start doing TODAY. So, no theoretical discussions e.g. whether going for a walk is a good thing. Also, please provide a reason for your tip. So, here's mine that I've started doing At the end of the working hours - Pack your laptop in your backpack. Don't just close the lid. Unplug any dongle, cable, everything. Next morning setup everything for your work. This way you'll prevent yourself from that urge known as "just check this tiny little thing that will eat 2 more hours of my free time". No matter if you are at the same desk in your home for every day, just start doing this. If it seems like too much remember that in pre-corona times you were doing the same things. Plus commuting. Reason for this tip is that in consecutive wfh you may lose the sense when are you working and when you're not. So you can switch to a 16h+ working hours which is not good. You'll burn out. You're also "stealing" time from your family (if you live with someone).
As the title suggests, I want to discuss strategies that SaaS companies have implemented or hope to implement on converting their free users into a free trial, and hopefully a paid plan. What have your most successful campaigns been vs some of your worst to get these conversions? Hearing the details of both successful & non-successful campaigns could hopefully streamline the process for other startups and help increase paid users!
A simple question for the PH community. This year, would you prefer to have 2x more time (for family and personal projects) or rather have 2x more money?
Open communication is crucial for me. It is important for people to express their thoughts openly to ensure a good company culture. What do you want to have in a company to improve culture?

Newton Calendar is a companion app to the excellent Newton Mail.
I have had every email client imaginable for my iphone but because some are Gmail based and some are Microsoft Exchange, I always struggled to get one client to rule them all. Newton is that client and I love it. What I don't love is that it doesn't have a calendar. Until now....
CheckLister is a simple app dedicated to quickly creating checklists and sharing them if needs be.
I wanted to build something where I could send a checklist to someone and they could use it without needing to create an account somewhere, or have some app already installed.
It's very much an MVP right now. Please tell me how to improve it.
TeamTastic is a SaaS product that allows companies, teams, groups, departments, or any other collection of individuals to build a clean and useful team page.
It's early days for the product. I've learned hard with previous releases that you just need to ship as early as possible and start getting feedback, so that's exactly what I'm doing.
We Are Laravel is a community curated resource of new and awesome Laravel apps. I hope to grow it into a Laravel community that is valuable for developers and those with a general interest in development.
GetFed: The Marketplace for Home Cooked Food. In the age of Uber and Airbnb, we believe the next thing to be disrupted by the sharing economy is... dinnertime. GetFed provides a healthy, home cooked alternative to takeaway dinner AND reduces foot waste.
