Hey everyone, We are doing everything we can to gain insights and get feedback on our app. The people that trial our app do not seem open to discussing their experience or providing feedback so I thought I would ask fellow founders how you overcame this and where you go to get insights and feedback on your app.
I often see the media sharing articles about layoffs due to AI, how junior programmer positions are less in demand, how there is also a decreased interest in copywriters and graphic designers, etc.
About 2 weeks ago, Teammates launched a tool (AI HR-ist), and right now I came across a post from a local marketer who shared interesting data about Ask AI (an internal AI/chatbot system), which today handles almost 94% of all routine HR requests, such as:
vacation requests
onboarding new employees
payroll information and attendance records
benefit selection and answers to basic employment questions
Results of AI implementation at IBM
94% of the HR agenda is automated
Payroll, vacation, administration even terminations have been automated
$3.5 billion saved
40% drop in HR costs
IBM also claims that employees are happier. The HR department s internal NPS score increased from -35 to +74 after the implementation of AskHR (source: HR Asia). 6% of questions are still directed at people AI has not yet completely replaced complex or emotionally sensitive situations.

Last month we kicked things off with a high-level recap of our Product of the Month launch - and you had so many questions that we went back to document every tactic in full. Today, here s the in-depth playbook: the exact strategies, experiments, and community-powered tests that took Chronicle to #1 on Product Hunt and over 1,000 upvotes within 24 hours.
I read in TechCrunch today that Perplexity is trying to dominate the Indian market, which could potentially increase the number of users (and thus compete with OpenAI).
Perplexity is trying to attract more users by offering a free 12-month Perplexity Pro subscription normally worth $200 to all 360 million Airtel subscribers. (That is the cost for them.)
When I first launched on Product Hunt, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn t sure anyone would notice our little startup, and honestly, I felt intimidated. Everyone seemed so established, and I didn t know where I fit in.
But then something incredible happened. A kind comment from @aaronoleary. Encouragement from the PH community. Support from the Product Hunt team when we ran into issues. A hunt from @benln. A thoughtful reply from @rajiv_ayyangar himself.
That first launch became Product of the Day.
We were later nominated for Product of the Year.
In 2023, I was named Community Member of the Year.
And now in 2025, I ve been invited to serve as a Product Hunt Ambassador!

We often cover software topics on ProductHunt, but sometimes we overlook the fact that tech can be felt most in the physical world (hardware).
As of mid-2024, there have been approximately 3,979 reported incidents involving autonomous vehicles (AVs) in the United States since reporting began in 2019. Source
Every day, the PH feed is packed with shiny new SaaS tools most of them browser-based, many of them AI-infused. It s exciting, no doubt. But compared to a time not so long ago, something seems missing: local desktop apps.
They re rare now, and it makes me wonder are native apps still worth building, or have they quietly slipped into the realm of nostalgia?
After all, web apps offer clear benefits for both users and makers or investors. Users don t have to install anything, updates are seamless, and their data is accessible from any device with a browser. For investors, the advantages are just as compelling: a single tech stack, easier user onboarding, lock-in effects, and plenty of levers for driving growth and virality.
In the last few days, I have seen many AI tools for creating audio-visual, and even people in my feed shared short movies created by AI (Hollywood will probably cut costs quite a bit in the next few years).
What is your experience with AI video generators, and which ones do you find the best? (In terms of which AI tools have given you the best video results.)
Most people phone it in on their 404 page. Some of you didn t. If yours has a little personality or went completely off the rails drop it here. Let s see who actually tried.
Here's ours! It cycles through different team member's pets because who doesn't love pets?
Today I noticed the new "Recent Comments" feature on the PH Forum, and it's pretty cool.
It solves two problems:
First, I can easily see which posts are currently active and where people are engaging so as a user I can jump in and participate.
Second, it rewards you for staying active on your own posts and replying to people quickly just like on a PH product launch, since your latest comment will appear at the top of the Recent Comments page.
