I noticed that many of you are using discounts, which is great. Well, recently I started "witnessing" a very specific behaviour about myself: I am more likely to purchase products with a one-time payment rather than a subscription plan when they are launched. Do you have the same from the user's point of view? Startups and businesses, what monetization strategies are you using on this special day?
Hey guys Have you ever encountered this situation? The product was launched by someone else, but I couldn't contact that person and couldn't become a maker. What should I do? I was very depressed. I prepared for the launch for a long time, but I didn't expect that someone else would launch it first.
I ran a similar experiment on Twitter a while ago and realized I should have asked the Product Hunt community. First, some context: I started Weekend Fund in 2017 while I was still the CEO at Product Hunt. Today, @vedika_jain and I write $100K to $300K checks into early-stage startups (most of which launched on Product Hunt at some point). Our background is in product and community building, but we have a network of over 400 LPs across every domain from data science to enterprise sales. More details at weekend.fund. If you're primary KPI (revenue, MAU, etc.) is growing 20%+ for 6+ months, drop me a note with details ryan@weekend.fund. If you have a deck, please share but we'd also love to chat with founders that aren't actively raising but could use our capital and help. :)
How many hours do you spend on crafting emails + replying to work messages everyday?
How many hours do you spend on tracking project progress and follow-ups everyday? I personally spend 2 hours on emails & messages, another 1 hour on project tracking. But maybe 1-2 hours joggling around tasks and wasted. Wonder if there's any good AI or SaaS tools to reduce the time spent on the above tasks?
