In 2025, we witnessed a true Product Hunt (r)evolution so many things changed dramatically. I honestly think this was the most intense year of changes the platform has ever had.
For example, we got to experience all of this:
Verifying profiles (badges)
Alternative product suggestions on launch pages
Views and online count on forum posts
Adding/Removing the ambassador program
Forums instead of Discussions
Changing the UX/UI of launch pages
Removing Coming soon (Notify me pages)
Adding/Removing downvotes on comments
Forum comments now showing up on our profiles
More extensive footer
Redesign of the main page UI (e.g., new notification icon)
We just wrapped the Orbit Awards for AI Dictation and now we re moving to the next category: AI Automation.
This one is for the tools that actually do work for you clearing chores, running workflows in the background, or quietly taking over a chunk of your week without turning into another dashboard you have to babysit.
Yesterday, @pamela_arienti mentioned that her Product Hunt launch ended up somewhere in the middle, and one of the main lessons for her is that the connections gained on the platform are much more important than the placement.
Solopreneurs and freelancers face a brutal reality: you're the CEO, assistant, accountant, and follow-up guy all at once. Admin work steals your evenings and weekends.
Jinna handles it all. Just chat naturally:
"Create an invoice for Sam - $250 for logo design, due Friday."
She creates a branded invoice, sends it with a Stripe link, follows up automatically, tracks payments, and offers invoice financing when you need cash flow.
I m Mark, CPO at PawChamp. Together with my team, we re building PawChamp a Dog Training and Care Companion app. Most of our team are pet parents, so this topic is very close to us.
When we started PawChamp, we wanted expert help to be available anytime, anywhere. At first, we added 24/7 chats with dog trainers fast replies, real people. But humans have limits. They can t always send long, detailed instructions right away. That s how Pawchie AI was born.
My name is Mark, and together with my team I m building PawChamp, a mobile app for iOS & Android. We re planning to try a Product Hunt launch in mid-October - timed with Adopt a Dog Month in the US. Alongside, we ll run social campaigns to promote shelter dog adoption.
But looking at all the diverse and beautiful AI-powered products launching these days, I feel humbled... Is there still space here for a B2C product with pet parents as its core audience?
Hello friends, and welcome back to the changelog. The devs have been running on a balanced diet of espresso shots and questionable amounts of energy drinks, which means you guessed it: fresh updates are here. From saying goodbye to Coming Soon, to giving you a shiny red self-destruct button, to sprucing up Alternatives, and a shiny new footer, we ve packed a lot into this round.
Coming Soon Forum Threads
The old Coming Soon pages have officially retired (and you lot noticed). From now on, every new product you create gets its own forum thread. It is your place to share updates, drop teasers, or just shout into the void while you wait for launch day. People can still follow from your forum page to get notified when you go live, but now you can actually start the conversation early.

Ever notice how AI coding agents fly when building from scratch, but stumble when it s time to make tweaks or squash bugs? It often feels like they re trapped in a prompting loop repeating mistakes, losing context, or misinterpreting your feedback.
At Webvizio, we ve spent the last 6 months tackling exactly this. Our solution: a context layer that feeds your AI coding tool (Cursor, Windsurf, etc.) everything it actually needs visual feedback, console logs, user steps, technical notes in one structured, AI-readable task.
We just launched today on Product Hunt https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Yesterday, @rohanrecommends noticed some changes on this Platform the "Coming soon" page is gone.
There's no reason to panic because you have plenty of options to be visible, for example:
You can place the PH badge (button for support) on your landing page.
You can send a reminder email or push notification to your supporter.
You can set up a LinkedIn/Facebook virtual event where you insert the link for your launch.
You can use PH forums with relevant categories to make announcements if you have previously launched, for example, p/Google, allowing you to use the platform directly.
Most people phone it in on their 404 page. Some of you didn t. If yours has a little personality or went completely off the rails drop it here. Let s see who actually tried.
Here's ours! It cycles through different team member's pets because who doesn't love pets?
I had an experience today I wanted to share and get some thoughts on. Someone reached out to me asking if I could delete one of my past Product Hunt launches a product that was featured and received great attention on its launch day.
The reason given? They're planning an "official," coordinated launch next month and, based on their stated "research into PH rules," believed that a previous launch within six months would prevent their launch from being featured. They wanted a guaranteed feature, so they hoped removing the previous record would help.
When you re trying to cover multiple platforms with your brand and also cover other platforms for your business account, things can get a little out of hand.
How do you manage your communities and everything that comes with it?
