Henry Hazlitt once used the example of Arkwright's technological spinning invention in the 1700s, which most people were against, to explain the consequence of all tech advancements. Before the invention about 10,000 spinners worked in England, and when the invention came people got scared everybody would lose their jobs, and resistance arose that they had to use force to suppress. But what...

I know that Wikipedia has documented instances where pages about (especially) individuals or events have emphasized negative details—some accurate, others not—and when new developments provide a more positive perspective on those 'negative details', or that show the 'negative details' are false, and people have tried to add/update the page with those indisputable facts (e.g. as indisputable as...

I got curious when you asked these questions about Europe so I looked around a bit and I found that at least both Germany and UK already have this. This is really great! I have used similar tools before to run Jupyter notebooks that needed GPU power, but I found them very frustrating since it often took several minutes (sometimes even 15+ min) to be allocated the GPUs, and even if some were faster, if I have needed to work with others and share the project, I have had to send files around. No more such problems! Congratulations on this...

Stockholm, Sweden, probably is the top location for breeding unicorns – at least it has been for a long time, so the culture is there. Many investment firms have made it a hub for pumping a lot of capital into specifically tech and software, and at practically all universities there these firms have a presence to find and fuel such innovation and to start invest early. Among the most notable...
