I practice AI automations for my business daily. Next week I'll be launching my product Capable. Where I gathered 70 the most usable prompts I practically use in my agency business and with my clients.
I ve been on Product Hunt for over 1,000 days, and honestly, when I first started, I had no strategy.
I knew I wanted to grow, but I didn t have a clear plan. I simply liked the platform, and that was enough motivation to spend time here. That time helped me recognise certain ways to build a personal brand on Product Hunt.

I was inspired by @chrismessina to build my own Raycast extensions after he released his own! I have been using Raycast a lot more thanks to a gentle nudge from @jakecrump (and @Raycast's latest AI releases), so I knew I wanted to build my own Raycast extension at some point.
There was a lot of news about Cyberpunk for Mac released and I wanted to search if there was a deal for it on PC. I instinctively went to search Raycast .but it wasn t there. So my extension idea was born!
My goal was simple: make it easier to hunt for video game deals right from the Raycast command bar. What followed was a rapid journey of prototyping, debugging, and learning. I m excited to share what I learned and hope it will encourage more makers to ship their ideas. You can view my IsThereAnyDeal (ITAD) Extension on GitHub here! I will launch it when it's approved on the Raycast store :) I'll publish a more in-depth, nerdy guide later. But for now...here's my experience building a Raycast Extension!

When I first launched on Product Hunt, I had no idea what to expect. I wasn t sure anyone would notice our little startup, and honestly, I felt intimidated. Everyone seemed so established, and I didn t know where I fit in.
But then something incredible happened. A kind comment from @aaronoleary. Encouragement from the PH community. Support from the Product Hunt team when we ran into issues. A hunt from @benln. A thoughtful reply from @rajiv_ayyangar himself.
That first launch became Product of the Day.
We were later nominated for Product of the Year.
In 2023, I was named Community Member of the Year.
And now in 2025, I ve been invited to serve as a Product Hunt Ambassador!
I am Abdul Rehman, excited to join this incredible community of builders, makers, and tech lovers.
I recently launched ImmigrantVLI, a site aimed at helping immigrants understand the U.S. visa process, their legal rights, and more. It s something I wish I had when I was navigating the system, so I built it to help others going through the same experience.
I am here to learn from others, get feedback, and connect with people who are building meaningful stuff, whether it s in tech, social impact, or just cool side projects.

I love @Cursor. It's enabled me to build (vibe code) so many web apps, sites, extensions, and little things quickly that 1. bring me joy and 2. help me with work or realize personal projects. However... I'm seeing a TON of movement around @Claude by Anthropic's Claude Code. I haven't personally tried it but it's apparently insane (and can also be expensive?) I'm curious. Should I switch? What are you currently using? Or do they both have their own use case. I right now like cursor because I can build directly in a GitHub repo or locally and it helps me learn my way around an IDE. Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts!
