The Story Behind MultiDrive’s Product Hunt Launch

This summer, we made a bold decision to launch on Product Hunt. The problem? We had zero idea how to actually do it.

Well, almost zero. Our CTO @mokosiy was a massive Product Hunt fan, and his enthusiasm was our only compass. He armed us with the right stack: Cursor for code, PostHog for analytics, latest .NET and Avalonia to build the gorgeous app.

The Reality Check By August, the "Launching Soon" label we were banking on had vanished. We were flying blind. That's when the real work began. I didn't just read the guidelines; I followed them to the letter. We had to change the date of the Product Hunt launch five times. We realized that we weren't ready.

Which movies about foundership & business do you recommend as the best?

Slowly but surely, the Christmas holidays are approaching, which usually means more time at home with family and more movie binge-watching.

Yesterday I watched TV for the first time in a while, and they were playing Bezos: The Beginning (2023). A decent movie overall, even though it could ve been longer or had a sequel.

The last month of 2025 is here. How are you planning to use it?

Some of you set resolutions for this year, and soon you ll be looking back to see how well you did.

Before that moment comes, what do you want to finish or achieve in this final month?

How I spent ten years on 18 projects to understand the fundamental rule of startups

My journey in startups began 10 years ago, and I've launched 18 startups, most of which failed. Briefly on why they failed:
1. Contract Online my first startup in 2015, which was supposed to be an online service for remote signing of contracts for any transactions between individuals. A kind of analogue of a secure transaction. For this startup, I even managed to attract a business angel who invested $16,500.

Reason for failure: I had two lawyers on my team who discovered in the process that the legal framework at the time could not provide reliable grounds for protecting our users in remote transactions. The contracts would not have been considered legally signed.
2. Natural Products In 2015-2018, I became very passionate about healthy eating, but in the process, I discovered that products in all chain stores are full of chemicals, and stores with truly natural products are inaccessible to the majority. Hence, the idea emerged to create my own online platform where you could order natural products directly from farmers at affordable prices.

Reason for failure: For several years, I tried to launch this project, even trained as a baker of natural bread and tried to create my own farm, but in the process, I found that few people are willing to pay for truly natural products, even if these products were only 20-30% more expensive than market prices, and not 2-3 times more, as in premium stores. Hence, the market was so small that all my attempts were doomed.

AI Memory that goes wherever you go!

Hi everyone,
A lot of my friends and I use multiple agents regularly (ChatGPT & Claude are my favorite). And I frequently switch because every agent has a different flavor is better at different things. So, I switch to get the best results for the given task. (sometimes i also switch when claude's 5-hour free limit is reached)
However, switching means starting over from zero - lose the conversation and the context and re-enter everything and set the stage again.
So, I thought to build a portable memory extension that lets you take your context anywhere you go, perfects your prompts and injects the relevant context inside of it.
Would love to know what you guys think -> https://chromewebstore.google.co...

10 things I wish I knew before launching on Product Hunt

When we launched Flexprice, I thought Product Hunt success was about chasing upvotes.

I was wrong.

It s really about momentum, community, and showing up prepared.

Here are a few lessons we learned the hard way but I hope they save someone a few gray hairs before their launch day:

What is your opinion on artificial intelligence companions (their harm and regulation)?

Currently reading about the move of California:

The state has become the first U.S. state to regulate AI companion chatbots. Governor Gavin Newsom signed SB 243, a new law requiring companies like OpenAI, Meta, Character AI, and Replika to implement safety protocols protecting children and vulnerable users.

What's your reason to be active on PH Forums?

For me - it's the community of makers. I've always enjoyed the 0->1 journeys of building product and businesses. I believe this is the tribe where I can contribute the most.

What's your reason to come back to PH and participate?

🔥 Roast my idea: drop your ideas and get brutally honest feedback 🔥

It's simple. Drop your next big idea and get some brutally honest but hopefully valuable feedback. The rules are:

  • Drop your idea, you don't have to go super in depth but give a sentence or two about what it is and does.

  • Get roasted, duh

  • Roast someone else's.

That way we create a cycle of feedback
