Best advice for promoting your product (Pre launch) ?
Hey folks! What are your best advices to promote your product during your pre launch period ?
Dev.to & Hashnode alternatives: where do you share info about your product?
Hey everyone! We're looking for the best places to share updates about our product beyond our website. Besides Dev.to and Hashnode, what other developer-focused platforms do you recommend? Do you think it's better to post from a personal account or a company account? And is it more effective to share updates across multiple platforms or focus on building a dedicated blog on one platform?
Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
🔥 How to Never Lose Your Product Hunt Streak Again!
In my last two discussions, we talked about: Now, let s get practical! If you really see value in maintaining a streak, how do you make sure you never lose it? Here are some easy but effective tips that have worked for me: 1 Add PH as a widget on your phone s home screen for quick access. 2 Save PH as your first browser bookmark to keep it top of mind. 3 A simple daily phone or calendar alert can save your streak. 4 Screenshot your login page before heading somewhere with no Wi-Fi. 5 Partner with someone to remind each other. 6 Upvoting and commenting build the habit. 7 Morning and evening check-ins give extra security. 8 PH alerts are a lifesaver when things get busy. Have you ever lost a streak despite trying to maintain it?
Do you feel AI tools lack a human touch?
By human touch, I mean human support/help center, involving users in the development process, communicating with users etc.
How do you plan to retain the users you’ve gained after the initial launch?
One thing I ve always found interesting especially with successful launches that make it to the top of the day or top3 of the day is how founders manage to keep the users they acquire after launching on Product Hunt. Even beyond those top launches, anyone who gains users from a launch faces the challenge of retention. Many users won t like the platform, some will decide they don t want to pay the price, and others will find a better competitor. I m really curious about the strategies you use post-launch to keep users engaged and prevent churn. From what I ve observed, there are usually two common approaches: 1. Do nothing and hope that paying users don t notice or care enough to cancel, so they keep subscribing.
2. Actively engage users by asking what they like or dislike, offering discounts, or providing extra perks to encourage them. What's your approach?

A good starter kit Vs No-Code
For non-techy founders, it is obvious that no-code is their choice, but how do you decide between so many no-code platforms out there? For technical founders, a good starter kit (most of them are open-source, free, and loaded with lots of defaults) can give you a huge leap to start working on your core features and complete them within a month or two. I'm interested to know if as a technical person, you prefer no-code vs starter kit these days? I'm a technical founder and building a starter kit. Because: Me & My team starts 2-3 projects every quarter for Startup and small businesses and want to avoid implementing same features again and again I want more startups to use .NET instead of another back-end stack. So, I'm launching my starter kit with fully loaded features at a very small price! I want to help more founders with their development, and the starter kit will allow me to finish 15-25 projects a year instead of 6-8! Love to know more about your thoughts!

Where do you find the best open datasets for AI experiments?
I'm curious to know where others source high-quality, diverse datasets for their AI projects. Whether it's for training machine learning models, experimenting with deep learning, or exploring niche applications, a good dataset is crucial. Some popular sources I've explored are: 1. Kaggle Datasets: A wide variety of datasets for every domain.
2. Google Dataset Search: A powerful tool to find datasets across the web.
3. UCI Machine Learning Repository: Great for classic ML datasets.
4. Hugging Face Datasets: Amazing for NLP tasks. Are there any underrated or niche resources you'd recommend? Let's share and build a comprehensive list!" Would you like to add or refine this further?

What is the Future of Mobile App Development?
With smartphones being so ubiquitous today, it can be easy to forget that mobile apps are relatively new.
