Hi Everyone đ I am Divine, CEO and Co-Founder of Careering. Careering arose from my time as a tech professional living in New York City, but still feeling the need to supplement my salary just to live comfortably. As I found many of the supplemental options available to be unrealistic or undesirable, I sought to create a side hustle platform conducive to balancing a full-time 9-5. Coupled with...

I would say we've been pretty good at limiting procrastination as of late, but here is a list of stuff we've haven't gotten around to just yet ahead of the launch of our marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th that we are focused on - Creating shared links - Finalizing our About Us page - Creating TikTok content

Nothing on the idea and product side. I am discouraged as a first-time founder for things I don't know and need to know as well as the ability to make the right decisions without having the experience of building and launching a product before. This is why feedback for the July 17th launch of our Marketplace for sign-ups will be paramount

I did a successful search on Linkedin. I cold DM'd my current technical cofounder and had a long feeling out period. Has been nothing short of amazing and We are now in a place where we are anticipating the Launch of our marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th. Funny nugget, the first DM I sent that met in person over coffee was unknowingly an engineer on the founding team of Apple Pay....

List out all tasks in order by priority and Just do it. Don't avoid anything, limit procrastination, attack the uncomfortable, and embrace the challenges. This is your opportunity to create and do something great. Don't take it for granted. Do the hard work especially when you do not want to. This is what I advise as we are launching the first half of our marketplace for sign-ups come July 17th.

This is interesting as we launch the first half of our marketplace come July 17th for sign-ups b/c tech is still somewhat in its infancy stage and as a result, we don't have any players in the space that truly lead with brand voice or tone first. We have brands whose marketing is developed about the convenience the technology creates first and branding second. However, I am inspired by one of...

Funny story here. I was absolutely obsessed with validating our marketplace which is launching its first half on July 17th, so I made QR code sheets that linked back to a Google questionnaire I made. I gorilla glued maybe 800-1200 of these in public transportation hubs, stations, & vehicles as a form of gorilla marketing. I would wake up at 4 am every morning for a month and paste these sheets...

Great Question. It is interesting because I am not entrepreneurial by nature. However, I came across a frustrating/infuriating problem I and many other professionals around me faced. What motivated me and what still motivates me to this day is this problem I and many close to me still currently face. As an FP&A analyst, I've always had an affinity for studying business models so when it came...

Cold outreach, even to nano influencers, is hard & difficult. Definitely did not know or expect that, but I need to push forward and keep pressing forward toward our July 17th Launch!
