What's the most users you got on a vibecoded project? We got 23 in the first day!

@jim_hartung and I built this ultralight task manager for Chrome (also works well on Comet) in the form of a Chrome extension and within the first day or so, without any marketing at all got 20+ users!

So what is it? It's called "Easy Tasks" and it literally has all the important stuff you need from a basic task management:

  • Organize your tasks in task lists

  • Search and sorting

  • Assign due date and priority to the tasks

  • Have a simple "Today" list on top of everything else

  • See tasks left behind

  • Quick capture, as simple as highlighting some text anywhere online, hit a shortcut, and create a task

Pricing a product in a crowded space: any wisdom to share?

Hi everyone, I'm David, cofounder at morgen.so, we are in the smart calendaring and planners space, one that has quite some players.

Is there anyone who's also in a somewhat crowded space, and has some suggestions on the topic of pricing and packaging? Please share any insight, I'll take care of trying to remap to our case.

How much time do you spend on hobbies?

Last 5 years my job was my hobby. And then I felt burning out emotionally. Thats why now I decided to do tennis, dancing and painting apart from work. I m wondering how much time is okay for that.

If you could time travel to change your past, what would you have done differently in your business?

Is there anything you would have done differently? Is there any skill you wish you had, or any contact you wish you never lost? Maybe, there was a good deal that you turned down and regretted?

Do you prefer remote, hybrid or in-person?

Personally I like hybrid remote with the option of going in whenever.

Serious talk: quitting your job to focus full time on your hustle, what did/does it take for you?

TBH, I think chasing your dream is a luxury and not a given, I couldn't just do it out of gut feeling, I had to build toward that. In my case, there have been two determining factors: - a certain level of security for a few months ahead - the right project (have done a couple of projects before, both eventually dropped, the third one was the charm!) What about you?

What do you spend the most on as an early stage SaaS startup?

Hello all! As a pre-Series A SaaS startup, what should you allocate the most of your budget? Is it best to focus on Marketing, Community or should Product Development be the first priority at this scale? Do you have any benchmarks such as 20% of your total spending would go to Marketing at this level? Thanks!

What is the strangest thing you schedule time for in your calendar?

If you live and breathe by your calendar, what do you block time for beyond the usual meetings and events?
