Building in a World Where Costs Keep Rising
With everything getting more expensive lately , fuel, infra, operations ... I ve been thinking a lot about how this quietly impacts the way we build and grow products.
For me, it s been a shift in mindset:
Less focus on grow fast at any cost
More focus on build lean, automate smart, and stay sustainable
That s actually one of the reasons I ve been exploring and working around ideas like this where automation isn t just a feature, but a way to reduce ongoing operational pressure.
What I m trying to do differently:
Cut down repetitive workflows
Rely more on systems than manual effort
Build things that can run without constant intervention
Feed — A Live Activity Stream for Vibe Coders
Most developer portfolios are static you add your projects once and that's it. No reason to come back.
We just shipped a Live Feed on VibeTalent that changes that. It's a unified activity stream showing everything happening across the builder community:
GitHub commits & PRs merged
New projects shipped (with tech stack and live links)
Daily coding streaks (30+ day milestones get highlighted)
New builders joining the platform
A few things that make it interesting:
The biggest lie in product building: "ship fast, learn later"
Everyone tells you to ship fast. Move fast and break things. Get to market before someone else does.
I believed this for a long time. When we were building Murror, speed was everything. We pushed features weekly, sometimes daily. We celebrated every deploy like a small victory.
