why most startup SEO fails (and how we’re solving it)

I've worked with dozens of early-stage teams and saw the same pattern:

they want organic traffic

they publish a few blog posts

SEO wins in 2 weeks — not 6 months

We keep hearing that SEO takes 6 12 months to work.

But recently, we tested bloggingmachine.io on searadar.com and saw real results in 2 weeks:

How we ranked 65 pages on Google in 6 weeks. Without backlinks, agencies, or keyword voodoo.

I run a tiny product that automates SEO blogging using AI. Not flashy. No magic dashboard. It just writes and publishes SEO-optimized content. We quietly test it on client sites to see what works.

Here s what happened with one of them: smsverified.com

how do you build a 1000-person waitlist for a product launch?

asking for a friend. (ok, it s me. i m the friend.) i m launching a product waitlist very soon. it s an ai-powered tool that s going to save people hours of grunt work every week. and i want to build a killer waitlist before the big reveal. like, 1,000 people kind of killer. why? because a solid waitlist means: instant momentum when we go live. a direct line to the people who actually care about what we re building. early feedback that keeps us from wasting time building the wrong thing. so here s my question: what s the best way to hit 1,000? what s worked for you? email campaigns? giveaways? smoke signals? some ideas i m considering: running a referral campaign (hello, word-of-mouth). launching a first 100 get a bonus offer. writing content so good, it makes people drop their email immediately. but i know the product hunt community is full of people who ve already done this (or wish they had). what s your secret sauce for building hype before the launch button gets clicked? drop your wisdom below. p.s. if you re curious about the tool, hit me up. I d love to share a sneak peek!

Predictions 2025 for Product Hunt and product directories

Please, take it with a grain of salt. PH already gave some beta-testers a verification badge due to bots: We can expect to be more cautious with whom we will interact in 2025. There will be a diversity in directories: As there are more and more products, companies or individuals will try to find ways to improve their marketing, visibility, and SEO  so they will start uploading to more PH-similar platforms. People start being cautious about launches. I have already received the same question from several people: "How can I make it to the "Featured" category?" People will start making differentiable products. (Hope so.) Do you have your own reckons?
