Being an engineer myself, I see that many people are outputting more code than ever. Some of it being generated vs. written, the volume of code being outputted has definitely risen. There seems to be a shift from "is this something we can build?" to "should we build this and ship it?" For people who have been recruiting or looking to recruit recently, what roles are you hiring for?
Role title (I've seen a rise in PM's and Designers personally)
What exactly can they do that AI can't (yet)
Specific signal that you look for when hiring
Are you moving headcount from one type of role to another? Would be interested to hear from other growing teams!
I've recently seen more cities that are growing teams and building offices that seem to be growing rapidly? SF seems like it's one of many hubs that have been growing in the recent years. I'm trying to see which cities people are looking into and where people think will be the next startup hub? I've seen mixed opinions on cities like New York and Toronto but would love to hear what other people think as well!
I'll say it bluntly that running a business is not as easy as it is presented on the Internet. You have to come up with a good and useful idea, and even then, you don't win.
You can only see the results after a long time. Not everyone can do it for a long time. To do it, you need to have a strong motive. For some people, it may be a family tradition, for some, money.
Everywhere else I look podcasts, social media, even casual discussions longevity is a hot topic. Bryan Johnson, for example, shows up in my feed constantly.
For me, health-tech feels like the most valuable thing we could be building. Not just extending life expectancy, but actually improving quality of life.
I m excited to introduce Mood Journal, a web app designed to help you track, understand, and improve your mental wellness.
Why I built it
Journaling is powerful but it s often inconsistent, messy, and hard to revisit. I wanted something simple and insightful: a tool that not only captures moods, but actually helps make sense of them.
Product Hunt was created specifically to showcase what you do. But let s face it, with the progress of AI, there are more and more products and you don t have time to test them all (respect to @gabe , who does this job brilliantly).
I noticed that as my following grew throughout social media, more people contacted me wanting to test products. Of course, I don t have room for everyone, and what s even more shocking is that to get to me, they want to compensate me for testing.
I often hear that LinkedIn is starting to be cringe, becoming a second Facebook, but let s be honest: it s still a career platform. A little cringe, but it still is.
On the other hand, Sam Altman introduced a new ambition OpenAI Jobs Platform an AI-powered hiring platform, expected to launch by mid-2026.
Big thanks to everyone who supported SnippSync yesterday
We ended up at 14th place on Product Hunt not exactly the rank I hoped for, but honestly, more than 120 upvotes means 120+ people took the time to check out my product. For a solo founder like me, that feels pretty amazing
The journey of SnippSync has just started. I m hoping to get some early users onboard and I ll keep adding features based on your needs and requests.
One idea I m already thinking about is organization support so a team (say with 10 seats) could all log in, create snippets, and keep their technical docs always up to date together. I think that could be super useful for companies constantly updating their docs.
Introducing Email Preflight: Every email you send is a small thesis about your product. It should read like you, render like you tested it on a dozen devices, and not land users on a 404.
I am thrilled by the reception Text2Query got here on Product Hunt . As a thank-you to early supporters, I am temporarily raising the token limit so you can try more queries, explore bigger schemas, and really push the app s limits.
This is just for a short time , so if you ve been curious, now s the best moment to upload your schema, ask questions in plain English or Spanish, and see how Text2Query transforms them into SQL or MongoDB queries (with clear explanations).
Thank you again for the support. Your feedback is shaping the next version of Text2Query .
At a time when everyone allows themselves to build any solution using AI, it is difficult to differentiate themselves, and makers are betting on more aggressive distribution.
Some differentiate themselves with good tech support, some build their personal brand as a founder, and some pay influencers.
Hello friends, and welcome back to the changelog. The devs have been running on a balanced diet of espresso shots and questionable amounts of energy drinks, which means you guessed it: fresh updates are here. From saying goodbye to Coming Soon, to giving you a shiny red self-destruct button, to sprucing up Alternatives, and a shiny new footer, we ve packed a lot into this round.
Coming Soon Forum Threads
The old Coming Soon pages have officially retired (and you lot noticed). From now on, every new product you create gets its own forum thread. It is your place to share updates, drop teasers, or just shout into the void while you wait for launch day. People can still follow from your forum page to get notified when you go live, but now you can actually start the conversation early.

Yesterday, @rohanrecommends noticed some changes on this Platform the "Coming soon" page is gone.
There's no reason to panic because you have plenty of options to be visible, for example:
You can place the PH badge (button for support) on your landing page.
You can send a reminder email or push notification to your supporter.
You can set up a LinkedIn/Facebook virtual event where you insert the link for your launch.
You can use PH forums with relevant categories to make announcements if you have previously launched, for example, p/Google, allowing you to use the platform directly.
