A free digital planning tool based on Daniel Pink's workbook, with frameworks from Tim Ferriss and Chris Williamson. The process: identity snapshot, past year review, pre-mortem (identify how you'll fail before you do), friction design, and a theme word for the year. When you're done: download your plan, set calendar reminders for reviews, get an AI wallpaper, and export to Claude/ChatGPT/Gemini/Grok as an accountability partner. No account. Fully private. Data stays in your browser.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Sander, the maker of Year Designed.
Every January I'd try some planning system, get overwhelmed by the many reflection prompts, and limited action. So I built the thing I actually wanted to use.
The goal was simple: one focused session, research-backed frameworks, and something you can actually reference throughout the year.
A few things I'm proud of:
The pre-mortem section. Thinking about how you'll fail before you start is weirdly clarifying.
The AI export. You can paste your entire plan into Claude/ChatGPT/Grok/Gemini and use it as an accountability partner that actually knows your goals.
Fully private. Nothing leaves your browser. No account, no email capture, no tricks.
Would love to hear what resonates and what's missing. What would make this more useful for you?
