Drop your exported WhatsApp chat. Get a Spotify-Wrapped-style recap: 20+ animated slides with top emojis, reply patterns, hourly heatmaps, archetypes, the moments that mattered, and AI personality dossiers for everyone in the chat. Parsed entirely in your browser. Messages never touch a server. No account needed for the free wrap. Saved wraps are end-to-end encrypted with your passkey, so not even we can read them. By design.

Hey Product Hunt π
I'm Rohit, the maker of Yapd.
Quick story. Last year I tried to relive my college group chat and realized something: our group chats are the weirdest, funniest, most honest archive any of us own. Spotify gets a Wrapped. iMessage gets nothing. WhatsApp gets nothing. So I built the one I wanted.
What you get from a single exported .txt:
20+ animated slides: top emojis, reply velocity, hourly heatmaps, longest streak, moments that mattered
β’ Archetypes like Yap Master, The Ghost, Night Owl, CEO of Reels
β’ AI personality dossiers for every person in the chat
β’ Encore (premium): a 7-chapter long-form AI essay written about the chat. The longform read of your relationship.
The part I'm most proud of:
The free wrap is parsed entirely in your browser. Your chat never touches our server. Saved wraps are end-to-end encrypted in the browser with a key derived from your passkey or passphrase (Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello). We genuinely cannot decrypt them, not even with full DB access. Privacy isn't a marketing line here, it's the architecture.
π A gift for Product Hunt
Use code PHFREE5 at sign-in for 5 bonus credits on top of your free device credits. Enough for a few wraps, or 3 wraps + 2 full Encore essay.
Three things I'd love your take on:
1. What chat would you most want to wrap? Group chat, parents, ex, work?
2. What slide would you add that doesn't exist yet?
3. Anything that feels off after you try it. I'm in the comments all day.
Thanks for taking a look. Will be answering everything personally.
Rohit
