The portability is honestly the main selling point here It’s so small that you actually carry it, which is more than i can say for bigger readers. The magnetic attachment coupled with the convenience of being able to read anywhere, anytime instead of being stuck in a doom scrolling session is what makes it click.
Wish it was easier to buy in India
I really like the idea of something this minimal, especially for distraction free reading but also wondering if it ends up being too minimal after a while. The size is definitely a plus, just not sure if i’d reach for this over my phone or a regular reader.
I am not sure I see the advantage of this over a reader app on my actual phone. ReadEra Pro, for instance, is feature rich, a one-time purchase (i.e. not a subscription) and handles everything I throw at it. It does not have a paper-like reading experience because it uses my phone's screen, but I can get pretty close by adjusting its settings, and it adds exactly zero bulk to my phone.
A snap-on, ultra-light e-reader solves a real pain point for phone readers eye strain without carrying another device. If the magnetic attachment and screen quality hold up in daily use, this feels genuinely useful, not gimmicky.
Best product ever! I own this device and it rocks.
