Most AI chats are you and a model nodding along. wwxd is a room of your handpicked voices, thinking out loud and bouncing off each other while you steer the convo. Founders, presidents, philosophers, comedians, anyone. Open source, MIT, runs on your own keys.

Hey PH! I built wwxd because I wanted my own on-demand board of directors. Not one chatbot agreeing with me. A room of sharp people, debating.
So that's what it is. Name anyone (founder, president, philosopher, your favorite comedian) and you get an AI impression of them to talk to. You can drop a few in a room, ask something real, and watch them answer in character and react to each other. Elon prices to value, Buffett wants the moat, Jobs says you're asking the wrong question. You moderate.
Honestly it started as a toy and now I use it constantly.
These are AI impressions, not the real people, and clearly labeled. You decide how grounded each one is: give it real sources (tweets, essays, YouTube) or let the model impersonate from what it knows. It may cite real quotes, but the responses it writes in someone's voice are an impression, not them, not endorsed, and can hallucinate.
Open source (MIT), self-hostable, runs on your own keys (Anthropic, OpenAI, or local via Ollama). No black box. Read the prompts, fork it, send a PR.
So who would you add in a room? I'm collecting the best matchups!
