I'm Spencer one of the Co-Founders of Workstack - thanks for the feedback on the design, I'd also be interested in your thoughts on the product once you've had chance to dig around.
The main reason behind creating Workstack was to fill the gap that pretty much all other products miss when it comes to task management across a team - basically their calendar views suck!
The inspiration behind our calendar was the game Tetris - it's like an inverted view of Tetris with tasks advancing upwards each and every day. Once a task hits the current day they begin stack up alongside each other - this way there's no escaping all the stuff you haven't done.

I agree at the moment the site relies on the video to transmit the main aspect of Workstack, but I think we cold definitely look at adding a greater focus on the pain points Workstack addresses for users.

We understand that for a lot of people making the leap from a horizontal to a vertical view is going to feel large.
Consequently, we will be looking at the possibility of making it an optional thing for users to either have a vertical or horizontal calendar view.
Hey @Workstack I saw this post and immediately signed up. Currently I use Basecamp but love to try new things. I'm a freelancer and work on the weekends. When I went inside Workstack, Sat/Sun was turned off and greyed out. Can you explain how to turn those days back on?
Hey @youngfonz you'll need to do this from the General Settings screen. Just click your avatar at the top right then select Settings, then in the General Settings you'll have the option to uncheck Saturday and Sunday.
